Whispering Ridge Golf Course

About
Whispering Ridge Golf Course is an executive course that was designed to complement its sister course, the nearby Lakeridge Links. Although it does not have the same length the championship Lakeridge Links has, it still offers about the same level of difficulty. The layout offers a different set of challenges, providing a compelling alternative to the other course. Its design is versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. A few water hazards come into play throughout as well as several deep, strategically placed bunkers. The gently rolling terrain provides some undulations in the fairways and greens. The par-3 third hole is one of the most challenging on the golf course with a gulch along the right as well as sand and rough to the left, all waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. Accuracy is a necessity on this tricky hole.

Disappointed
Markers were missing on the majority of the holes. Tee boxes were not repaired from last year.
Greens had ant hills, “fairways were covered in grass clippings
Good place to get some quality golf in.....
I liked the course. You can use every one of your clubs!!!
Good value
Greens in nice shape. Fairway were also good. Some tee boxes in poor shape.
Marshal was excellent. Kept us up to date on a slow group ahead who were moved up. Finished in just over three hours which is a good time for this course. Overall excellent value.
"Whispering Ridge: A Golfing Haven for Novice and Advanced Players Alike"
to other golf courses in the area.
As an avid golfer, I recently had the pleasure of playing a round at Whispering Ridge, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed for a great day on the course.
One of the first things that struck me about Whispering Ridge was its beautiful design. The course, which opened in 1996, has been thoughtfully laid out to provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. Whether you're a novice or an advanced player, you'll find something to love about this course.
The bent grass tees and sculptured fairways are impeccably maintained, providing a pristine playing surface that is a joy to hit from. The attention to detail in the course's upkeep is evident, and it truly enhances the overall experience. The fairways are wide enough to accommodate errant shots, but still require strategic thinking to navigate successfully.
One of the standout features of Whispering Ridge is its picturesque
Executive with some length
An executive with plenty of holes long enough to pull out the senior driver. Well maintained fairways and greens. Bunkers need some attending to. Friendly staff and good amenities. Driving range is an expanse of undulating fairway that draws you out for a second shot - shame there were no flag or distance markers. Course layout begs for some direction signs between holes. The “little” things add up and prevented a five star rating. Overall excellent value for the $35 weekend rate.
Little slow.
Pace was a little slow but course in good condition except for a few sand traps which were over grown with weeds. Looking forward to next time.
