Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

Short & tight
Not a long course by any means, but the fairways are tight and the undulating greens provide a good challenge. The rough is very thick due to a rainy June. Treeplanting has taken place on several areas of the course, enjoy a free lift out of these areas!
Nice course
Very nice course and very good dollar value. Lady in the pro shop could be friendlier, and I don't base that on one visit. The facilities are in much need of updating.
Beautiful scenery
My golf partner and I loved the layout and scenery. Very relaxing and felt like we got away to the country.
We were paired up with another 2some and we all felt that there is too much rough and especially tight around the greens, making it nearly impossible to land and roll on, unless bang on. Also, the greens were extremely challenging and could have been in better shape (lots of bumps)
Great Condition
What a hidden gem . Perfect course conditions and pace of play .Definitely will play again .
Great Course for Beginners
The course's nursery areas that line the fairways are an ideal course for someone who wants to play a full course and not be penalized fro errant tee shots. It is a great confidence booster and helps you understand how to adapt on course conditions. Eventually this course will set up nicely once the newly planted saplings grow to big trees. The back nine does offer different types of holes rather than going forward and back on the front 9
Nice course
Nice layout, played morning after a storm with strong winds but greens had not been blown off, overpriced!
Sloping greens
Played early morning with weather looking ominous....very windy and storm clouds in area. Got off first as a twosome and just flew .....2hrs and 40min! Great time! The course is in good shape generally with a few rough patches. The greens have been cut shorter making them fast and difficult due to the big slopes on many of them. I personally like these old style smaller greens. A fun course overall!
yes
it A friendly Golf Course. But the Price with the Disscount fro m the Golfnow. Still A far more than Average Round $60 round! With this Course I rate week day wiyh cart should be $47. and the weeken at$55 for this kind of course and the condition . It is Not the best View or any maitnance to it.Bunkers are Not well Ragg. That Was my fist experiene play from there. Should be Less than $60 for the round , and that is with Disscount from Golfnow.com
too much naturalized areas
course has way too much sectioned off naturalized areas which you get a free drop. so if you go off the fairway you get a free lift into a good lie.
in my opinion it takes away from the challenge of golf if you move your ball to a favorable lie.
I Have Always Liked This Track
We teed off at 7am and were paired with a single who was a solid golfer and and very nice man. I have not played here for 7 years and was pleased to say that it lived up to how I remembered it.
Its challenging yet simple, if you miss your shots, you will score high. Which I did. An easier way to say it is that the course is very unforgiving.
The free drop zones scattered throughout the course are a bit off-putting, but they are young trees that will turn into major problems when they mature. The greens were a nice size and in great shape, rolling true and pretty fast, so keep it below the hole if you can.
The staff was great and welcoming, but unfortunately we did not have time to grab a beer and a bite apres round. I have a mjor problem with a lot of the courses in Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford area charging way too much for a round, so I was pleased to get a deal online for 18 with a cart for $53, all in. If it was like this more often, I would def play here more often.
not what I expected
Staff was untrained, over priced for overall condition
Quick and convient
A nice walk with a few tricky holes. Greens are in good shape with undulations and more break than usual .
Par 3's are all decent and challenging if playing the Blue Tee's .Par 5's offer up good birdie opportunities but make a mistake and a bogey or worse will go on your card.
Love the wide fairways!
This course is the "average" golfer's dream!
Wide fairways and not an abundance of fescue make it easy to spot your ball instead of hunting around and slowing everything down.
Plays simple enough to be fun for a beginner but has enough challenging events to keep things interesting for the lower handicaps.
Staff was professional and friendly.
Can't wait to go back!
Burlington Springs
Good value for the money. Protected growth areas lining most fairways are a pain, but are a free drop. Will be nice in a few years when the trees grow in.
Spting conditions
The course was in spring condition. Greens not rolled yet so very bumpy. You never know it could knock your ball in the hole.
Pace of play was good. 4 hours 15 minutes. we were a 3 following a 4 so a little wait sometimes. Didn't get to the clubhouse after and there were no egg salad sandwiches after holes. Don't miss the egg salad sandwiches.
Enjoyable day.
Fair days work
Played on a perfect day so everything was ideal the condition for this time of year was great
Rough winter
the course overall is ok condition but most of the fairways suffered winter burn. the greens were also being knifed at the time of play. we were a 2some and finished in 2.45hrs, but for the price and the winter we had well worth the value. very sure the course will be in great shape over the next few weeks.
Enjoyable round with friends
Being early spring I was impressed with the condition of the fairways and greens. Well done. They do have a problem however with goose droppings on the fairways.
Burlington Springs
Greens still in poor condition.
Good lay out of the golf course.
