Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

Good afternoon
The staff was very helpful and friendly especially when I had to cancel one of our group. The course was in good shape all around and we had a great time.
Burlington Springs Golf Course Review
We arrrived at 7:30 AM for a 7:52 Tee Time. There was no one on the Tee Box, so I asked if we could play early. I was told no, because we booked through Golfnow and had a special rate, we had to wait for the other two golfers to show and be paired with them. Prior to our Tee Time, we were advised we could play be ourselves, but not to push the groups in front of us, as they play as a team every Tuesday. The lady behind the counter was less than friendly and is one reason why I would not go back to this course.
Sunday Golf
A fun round with my friend - back 9 is our favourite - more scenic. Found a cell phone on # 15 and thankfully it was returned to it's owner.
Big sloping greens make this course challenging for me.
Waiting to tee off on 17 ; long drives from 16 came too close for comfort. The 16th green is just behind the 17th tee.
OK in a pinch
I've played this course a few times and it's always when I can't find anything anywhere else. The greens are good the layout is kinda boring and I really think it's over priced.
Rainchecked
Course was in very good shape. Got a deal through Golfnow which included cart. Too bad the day was cut short due to rain/lightning. Word to the wise, if you're past the 10th hole and the horn goes, you DO NOT get a rain check.
Terrible staff, but decent course for price ($20 HotDeal)
VERY VERY VERY RUDE STAFF AND I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS COURSE. Female staff barked orders on the intercom (which I do not understand the necessity of) while the 700am grouping was teeing off. They had let a man go first because he wanted to go by himself and she yelled over the intercom and made him pick up the ball he was already playing and return to the tee box. We were the only ones there and on the course. She muttered several times negative things about "GolfNow People." And was not friendly in any manner or address.
where are the flags?
Some rather big greens without any method to know are the flags at the back, front, or middle.
Worst Staff!
I had my worst ever customer service experience at this course yesterday. The women at the pro shop was so rude and unaccommodating. I booked my tee time off golf now for 7:50am the day before. I showed up early to hit some balls and ran into some friends who were teeing off earlier and so asked if I could join them or tee off a bit earlier (one of them was going to wait and play with me). The lady very rudely told me that I was not allowed to do that. I figured that it might be because I was paired with someone else later on, so I told her I didn't mind paying for an extra cart so my future partner could ride solo. Again she rudely responded with "NO". I then explained how I would really appreciate the opportunity to play with my friend and that I wouldn't even mind paying another green fee to tee off earlier (I figured they were just being strict because I book off the golf now app). Again she rudely replied "NO". I asked her why she couldn't accommodate and she replied with, "that's the rules sir!" I ended up shaking my head and waking out, only to wait 30min for my tee time, with only one other group teeing off I the meantime. Needless to say, she lost my business forever. I won't be bringing clients there anymore, I won't be suggesting the course to friends, collegues or clients. I will never host our annual tournament there.
All in all though. Not a terrible course. I still ended up enjoying my round. Course was in good condition. The women at the front desk though, she needs a lesson in manners and business. Management should definetly look into this so it doesn't happen again.
Always a good challange
This was my 5th time playing there this summer and always enjoy playing there. The course is fair but has an added challenge for the weekend golfer. I enjoy it because the pace of play s great. Me and my buddy teed off at 215 and finished at 530. Perfect timing.
Great Value
The course offers great value with a well maintained course. Greens and the first cuts were well maintained. Only issue were the sand bunkers which need more attention.
Definitely will play again
Burlington, Springs Golf course
The course was in excellent condition, we teed off 1st @ 7am as a 3some & finished in 3.5 hrs, we only stopped for a few minutes to have a sandwich on the fly, very enjoyable round arriving at home as the girls were just getting out of bed!!!
Course in great condition
The course is in great condition. There are both challenging holes and some that have fairly open fairways. The staff is extremely friendly. I would definitely play here again.
Great Staff and great conditions n
Classic golf course that I was able to play with my 13 yr old son and Father.
Fantastic staff that made it feel very local and homey. Good course conditions and challenging enough for beginners without discouraging.
Thanks we will be back.
Fun Round
Nice short course. 2 holes with trees in the fairways that kinda ruin the holes to defend against lack of length. Greens in good shape with a fair amount of slope on them. I had a little trouble putting but if you drive it well you will have short clubs into every hole. Tall boy beers are $8. I thought this was a little excessive as with tip its $10 a beer. Friendly staff, decent range, good greens if you can read them correctly, and a nice short course if you love your wedges! I paid $40 with golfnow on a weekday with cart. Only complaint (althought I didn't hit it in a bunker my playing partners did) was the bunkers were hard... Other than that it was a good deal!
GREAT PLACE TO GOLF
HAVE NOY PLAYED THIS COURSE FOR SOME TIME
IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND SUPER FRIENDLY OWNWES AND STAFF
Good Value Round
Great shape! I would classify this as a "feel good" course much like Hornby. It is quite forgiving. The staff were small town friendly and the clientele on the older side. While they may hit 150 yards every time, it's straight ( darn them lol), the pace is very reasonable.
Thanks for an enjoyable day!
Hidden gem
This course really impressed me. I had known about this course for a while and had heard it wasn't very good. The course was in amazing shape and we finished our round in 3 hours while playing multiple balls. This is pretty short though so I just left my driver in the bag for the most part. Great round really recommended.
Good Times
Course was in great shape and green were superb.
15 min delay in tee off.
Great course for any player
The pace of play was a little slow, it was very busy when we showed up at 1015 and my partner and I got paired with another twosome. The round took nearly 5 hours, but it was a great day on the course regardless. It was in very good shape. The fairways are wide and the greens are fast. I will definately ve playing here again.
Nice course to play
Very friendly in the pro shop. They announce who is teeing off next so there is no confusion. I always enjoy playing Burlington Springs but today we were being told by a marshal to speed our play up, yet no one was waiting behind us. We got held up at one hole because we were buying beers from the beer girl. We were moving at a good pace. Then at the turn we stopped for a sausage, beer and bathroom break and he came in the hustle us along. If you don't want me to buy your food and beer don't sell it!! We finished the round in 4:15 which is a normal time for that course so we were not playing slowly.
