An enjoyable round
The course was well groomed and challenging. I just wish that they didn't book so many golfers. We were either waiting or being told to hurry up. That can throw off your game and make it less enjoyable
Great day
Weather was perfect, conditions good - fair bit of rain days before, so a few mud balls. Staff were excellent- not always the case at a Club Link daily fee course. Goff and service after were fantastic.
Perhaps it was due to the rain, but I found the grass off and on the fairways and on the collar of the greens very long and uncut making chips and third shots difficult.
As a Clublink course, this course is poor
Very disappointed with the condition and quality of the course at Hidden Lake compared to previous years the course has operated.
Hidden Lake - New Course
While I have been to Hidden Lake and played both courses many times over the years including earlier this year I have generally been happy with the experience. I must say I was very disappointed in the course conditions this weekend. How they cannot grow grass is a mystery!! The fairways are hard and bare, the bunkers were terrible, no attempt to manicure anywhere, tee blocks full of weeds and the greens while puttable, were hard as concrete underneath, holding any approach was somewhat impossible. Anyone who knows this area knows there are many other courses in the area that don't seem to have these conditioning issues. If you are going to charge pretty much top dollar, put some money back into the course and maintain it properly!!! On the bright side, the staff are friendly, beverages were cold and pace of play was great, especially for a mid-morning weekend round.

The high price does not coincide with the course conditions
