Very nice course and layout.
First round of the year so conditions were less than ideal. Nevertheless i am looking forward to going back when mother nature cooperates.
This course can be decent when properly maintained
Although the price was a "deal", it turned out not to be. The greens had been sanded and were completely unputtable.
Good course
Seeing at it was the last round of this year I understand the greens being aerated. This should have been noted on the app so that a gofer could make an informed decision on whether or not they wanted to play a course in this condition. The Marshall was poor at keeping the groups in line as the group in front if us was 1.5 holes ahead. This made it slow for us as the group did not allow us to play through.
this course has a good variety of holes.
As I played at the end of the season, greens were a little too sanded and needed to be swept.Fairways were good and were devoid of leaves. thanks
Fall Flop
Staff wasnt pleased that I only had jeans on while visiting friends out of town. Made me purchase pants to play in true fall conditions. Never saw a cart girl, thankfully halfway house open. Greens were prepped for winter and sand covered, probably a better course to play in the summer. Dissapointing to say the least.
Very Reliable Course
Played the new course, great condition and speed of play was perfect.
Get there early and take advantage of the driving range, chipping area and snack bar.
Hidden Lake New Course - new favourite go to course
I played this course twice this year and enjoyed it both times. The course is in great shape and has a lot less trees (which hate me) than the Old Course. While it has more bunkers and fescue, I'm okay with that. Challenging course with multiple tees to choose from. Great value during the week on Golfnow.
Afternoo of golf
The pace of play was good. The par 3's are a test if you could not get the ball close to the pin. You want to be a short iron in on the 3rd shot on the 14th hole.
Bit of an identity crisis
Clublink lite anyone ? Course was poorly marshalled and despite friendly staff conditions aren't as good as under the old owners. May improve but play the old course as a preference. Many better in the area
Quick Pace
Greens were in great shape, pace of play was excellent just under 4 hours.

Well maintained course, beautiful greens The fairways were a little soft from moisture at some points but overall excellent condition.
hidden lake new course
Hidden lake new course is in good condition. Notice however some green still need some attention. Also think the grounds ie. flower gardens etc really need attention - weedy etc....

Very good course. In excellent condition. Challenging course and very enjoyable to play.
Improving conditions
I played this course earlier in the year and was disappointed with the condition in general. Well, I guess lots of rain and perhaps new ownership have helped the grass come in nicely and improved the quality of the greens. Still think price could be lowered a bit.
Food
The course and staff are nice, But the snack shack on the course is a disaster. As usual there was missing condiments for the dogs. The dogs were luke warm and not cooked and there were no sandwiches at all. This is a recurring theme there. Only once in last 5 or 6 times did I or anyone I'm playing with get a warm hotdog. I gave up trying a few visits back.
enjoyable
Course was in great shape. Nobody ahead of us do we finished quickly. Cart girl was an absolute rocket, would go back just to see her again. Greens are quick and rough is deep, bring your a game.
Value for the game
No monitoring of pace of play. Three groups on the block at the turn, halfway house at the tenth, staff said they had no communication with the clubhouse? Hard to believe, so we resorted to calling via our cells, by the 15th somewhat normal, other than that, course is reasonable for the money.
