Good shape!
Enjoyed playing the Old course but I would rather play the New.

tee times set way to close together... lots of average golfers out there which need more time between tees. we had some older people in front of us that where walking and again another few in front of them.. they where all slow.. which I don't have a problem with ..People play at their speed... some kids out there also the course needs to manage the tee off times better
Well kept course
Course is well kept. Grass is groomed and greens are clean. Bunkers are raked and playable. Best kept course I’ve played this year. Unfortunately there was no beverage cart or halfway house open. So bring lots of liquids with you.
All and all I’m pleased with the course and I’ll be back to play again.
Enjoyable round of golf
I found the staff very warm and accommodating. The course was in great shape. Considering how dry a summer it has been it was very green. Loved how you are rewarded for good shots and punished for bad shots.
Definitely will be returning
Hidden Lakes Old Course Aug 2022
I was greeted by friendly staff all through the day.
Someone in front of us lost a club on the course.
We didn't come across it but there was an attendant driving a cart around looking and asking everyone if we had seen it.
That was great on their part.
The weather was high 20s C and the sky clear a perfect day for a round of golf.
the pace was good there was no one behind us pushing and every other hole we caught up.
On Course Service Needs Attention
Overall 4* - fun course to play from any tee deck, excellent pace of play and decent conditions - even with beaucoup rounds on this course. The on course beverage and comfort stations needs attention. No ice available for mixed drinks, most popular beer brands not available at 4:20 pm - sold out for the day! Worst of all was warm beer… eff that.
Hidden Lakes old course aug 2022
This is one of my favourite nearby courses.
There is just the right amount of trees to make it challenging. The staff are all friendly.
I forgot how much I paid but it was worth it.

The Old Course still passes the test. I prefer the Old over the New. Especially back nine with its variety of holes.
Great value, fairways in great shape.
Fairways were relatively green considering the amount of rain, dense, and cut tight. I don't know if it was Bermuda grass, but had that low/dense look/feel to it. You don't normally get that in southern Ontario at this price point. Greens were fast, but a fair amount of ball marks. Lots of sand, but no water. The snack/washroom stands reachable from many of the holes is a nice touch.
Slow
I quit after 4 hours and 13 holes. We had to wait on EVERY shot. There was a fundraiser tournament and the Marshall was completely useless
I'll think twice about playing there ever again.
