Indian Wells Golf Club
About
With the towering cliffs of Mount Nemo on the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, Indian Wells Golf Club provides a scenic round of golf. Stretching along rolling terrain that offers views of the surround countryside, the front nine has ponds that come into play on six holes while the back nine features narrow fairways and dense forest. With a treacherous combination of water, ravines, and trees throughout, tight course management is top priority in scoring well. Indian Wells Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 16th, which features a tough dogleg left that winds its way from an elevated tee through a forested valley and back up to a tricky elevated green.

A challenging course with the picturesque backdrop of the Niagara escarpment
Nestled close to the towering cliffs of the Niagara escarpment I really liked this course. For the average golfer it could be considered a little challenging but that aside, the twists, turns and tree-lined narrow holes make it fun to play.
Great Course! Terrible Twos(ome)
This is a great course. Unfortunately they have no control who plays. Was playing solo, behind many 4somes, which was fine, They offered to let me play through but I declined, I was not in a hurry. On the 14th hole the Marshall informs me the twosome behind me is not happy with me and the pace of play. I offer to let the morons play through, but they decline. Then they almost hit me with their drives. Then they have a good chuckle when I dub my next shot. They say they can't understand how the course lets a single play. They also say that there is membership b.s. going on, whatever that means? I said "thanks for ruining my day".
I have always enjoyed everything about this course, until today. The course was not responsible for people who are just plain ignorant. Oh, and finished in 4 hours which is not bad.
Tight course, well maintained
Really enjoyed my round this morning. The course was in immaculate shape. The greens were freshly cut and slightly wet from the morning dew so putting was a bit of challenge. The ball got covered in grass clippings and didn't roll true but no complaints. The staff was friendly and the course layout challenged my ability to play strategically around a course with tight fairways where a driver off the tee isn't always the best option.
This course is so short. 6,200 yards from the tips you hit a full driver once or twice. The layout is nice, the holes are not boring at all it is just too short. Nice views along the Escarpment. Tee boxes- good shape, fairways - great considering all the heat, greens are sluggish but roll true. There are better options in the price range on golfnow. Took forever to finish 18 and was warned from someone that this course is known for slow play. However this course would be good if it was at least 500 yards longer.
Slow
Tees off at like 8:10am and it was a 5 and a half hour round..
6 out of 10..
Considering the weather we have had as of late, the greens and fairways were in good shape (great job to the maintenance crew). VERY SCOREABLE if your in the middle of the tee. Blues are way to short for using your driver off the tee, I reccomend playing tips all day long. teed off at 6:20 and on my way home by 10:30 cant be at that. I f you haven't played Indian I recommend you give it a try, some nice scenary as well.
Great morning of golf
Played 18 holes in 3 hours! Course was in great shape. Always a great experience at Indian Wells. Only lost 4 balls, so I am improving!
Great track
Pleasently pleased. Course was in fantastic condition, pace was excellent. Bring extra balls because if your ball goes into the woods you aren't getting it, usually a steep ravine is behind the tree line. Beer cart came by often too. Will play again.
Indian Wells won again!
I love this course, unfortunately, my golf game certainly doesn't. You have to play smart and hit the ball straight. I would recommend this course, played in 3 hours. Staff is very good, never had a bad experience at Indian Wells.
loved it
havent played here in over 5 yrs
tough track but heckuva course
beautiful backdrop of niagara escarpment
Soggy in areas
Its my only real knock on the course. It soggy in many areas regardless of weather.
Also., either they need to promote fixing pitch marks or have their course marshalls fix them at the end of the day.
What a Gen
First time playing it but I’m coming back, favourite course I’ve played all year.
