this course is has interesting features.

Watch out for the water hazards. Make sure you have a good drive to carry on the par 5's. Bring some balls, just in case.

Beginners to Advanced - A Course to work on your game

Millcroft is around the corner - not long, but always fun to play.
No two holes back onto each other - course cut through homes(so accurrecy is important), greens are some of the best in the area, and the course is in excellent condition.
As a low handicap golfer I like to play it with just irons and at 6000 yards it's great for improving that part of your game. Beginners it's fun and flat and allows for an opportunity to enjoy the game.
Bunkers are in excellent condition, and course is worth the $$$.

Enjoyable

The course while short provides good challenges and tight layouts. Fair holes that allow an upbeat play pace. Overall the course is in great condition and can only recommend it.

Well Maintained

Course was in great shape. Excellent greens and fairways. Really enjoy playing Millcroft when the price is right as it's location is very accessible. Lots of hole variation and you'll get shots in with every more clubs. If you're mid range iron game is on you can low here.

A great urban course.

For those that have never played here before, the course basically meanders around the back of houses in a sub-division. The houses are definitely within range of an errant tee shot, so be careful. A lot of the holes are short, so leaving the driver in the bag is always a good option.

Millcroft is a very well kept course, with nice greens that are not overly fast. Plenty of bunkers, esp on the back 9.

Cart girl will see you a couple of times per round and has the usual fare.

Menu on the 9th tee tells you what's available in the clubhouse for a midgame snack, hot dogs and bacon sandwiches iirc.

Carts are well maintained. I'd recommend using a cart, as the distance between some holes is long.

Took 3 of us just over 4hours on a Sunday noon teeoff with carts.

A nice walk in the park

Other than winding your way through a suburban neighbourhood, the scenery is actually not bad. Lots of road crossings but considering the location I guess it was expected. A little on the short side but play the tips and it is challenging enough. Well kept course including very good bunker conditions. Greens were a little slow but very true.

Really Impressed

Really nice course. Yes it's a bit short but you can always play from the blues as we elected to do and it's around 5700 yds. Be warned this will make some of the par 3s extra challenging.
Course was in amazing shape, greens were absolutely perfect. It's a bit tight in areas and course management is a must, know when to lay up, this course will have you using every club in the bag.
First time playing here and will definitely be back for more!!

Suburban sanctuary

This short course is very flat and it's fairways are lined with housing somewhat obscured by trees. Greens, fairways and bunkers were in great shape. Layout moderately interesting with several water hazards. If you're fighting a hooking or slicing driver you will be in backyards for the entire round.

Tee Blocks

The only issue I had was with the tee blocks. Typically they should remain flat so the golfer has a perfect position from point of start.

Not a difficult course, however given that it is located right in the middle of the city, I have no complaints.

Surprisingly challenging course

Despite coming in under 6,000 yards and having more than its fair share of par-3s, I keep finding this course surprisingly challenging at times. Even though I shot two-8s in the front, a 7 in the back and a 3-put on the 17th, I ended up with an 87. My friends did not fare as well with scores of 97, 99 and 105.

You need to keep focused since you are surrounded by deep woods, heavy bush and close proximity of homes.

I especially liked the greens this time around, true rolls and surprisingly quick at times. I would love to see these greens rolled to get them even faster.

The secret to a good score here is managing your game and expectations well, and thus not taking unnecessary or unrealistic chances. Depending on your proficiency, an extra sleeve or two of balls may be warranted.

*** I rated the Quality of food & Beverages as Average even though I did not have anything to eat or drink this time around. The burgers and dogs at the turn looked great though.

My only complaint is the pace of the game. We could have used the help of a marshal with a slow group that was two groups ahead of us.

Good value for the money

Got a deal on GolfNow so the price was good. Course is in good condition, lots of sand but it's fair. Greens a little slow on the day we were there. We took carts because it was part of the GN deal, but the course is very walkable. Playing in less than 4 hours on a late summer afternoon
