About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Golfer Reviews
the timing of people behind us and in front of us was very poor
people were hitting into us and we would constantly be waiting at the tee of because of people in front of us and then we would have to hurry because of the people behind us
Great value for your money!
The course was in great shape, the cart paths need some TLC. You’ll need to plan out each shot as the course will challenge you. A little disappointed that the 18th went from a long par 4 to a short par 3. Would be nice to have a beverage cart on the course. The staff were very friendly. Had a great day on the course.
The Daga
Course was in good shape
Too many par 3’s on the back nine
Moving #18 to a par 3 is a shame
Should be moved back to the original par 4 which was a signature hole for the course
Tyandaga Hot Deal
I like this course because it is a challenge. The first two holes will provide you a test of accuracy and ball control. From there, there are are a good mix of scoring holes depending on the wind. The 17th is a very tight par 5 that winds between trees and an inviting creek. Good value for this course this year due to all the rain. It is in really good shape. Unfortunately, in past dry summers, this course has not been watered enough, becoming very dry. That is not the case this year.
Great value
Nice course perfectly priced. View of the lake on 16 was cool.
18th hole permanently changed(?)
Hole 18 is now a par 3 to close.
Apparently to protect housing on right side.
(Seems to be room to make it a short par 4 instead - not sure if that is still viable?)
Course is in good shape.
A disgrace
A complete change. Tee boxes full of weeds. Bunkers full of weeds. Walking paths like hiking in the mountains. The course is neglected and it shows. The greens are different on every hole. Some stick. Some fly right off. It’s a shame. Once was a jewel. Oh and the 18 hole is now a par three. A 700 yard walk to a a tee box that was like my front yard grass.

Terrible Layout
Holes 14 and holes 18 have be cut off to reduce them from Par 4's to Par 3's. Really left a bad taste in my mouth on 18 walking past the old tee blocks and 100+ yards down the old fairway in order to get to the modified tees.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the changes made to holes 14 and 18, reducing them from Par 4's to Par 3's. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Great course
Great course, the greens were fast and everything was well maintained except a few tee boxes.
Course for all players.
Good to see some young players out there learning the game.
This place is fading out
Compares to a few years back, felt like this club has been given up by the city, not doing much to improve nor maintain its conditions, except greens are still good condition, everything else is getting worse, especially cut course short at some holes, just a disaster. If the neighbors don't like a course behind their house, keep forcing the city making bad decision, might as well sell the property for the housing, everyone is happy.
We apologize for any negative experiences you may have had at our club. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we work to improve and maintain the conditions of our course. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Good
It's been much better condition every year since when I start play 5 years ago. Hopefully golf course has pathway so we can play with power cart when course has wet conditions. I am a senier women so hard to walk to the hills

Tyandaga very different this year.
Extremely disappointed with the tee boxes. Very uneven tee boxes, very few flat tee boxes. And they changed 18 from a par 5 to a par 3. I don’t like the change. If the issue was because of the houses, then put up a large net.
We apologize that you were disappointed with the tee boxes and the change in the 18th hole's par. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate your compliments on the course and friendly staff, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the conditions of the cart paths and the change to the 18th hole. We value your input and hope to see you again soon.
