About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

#18 hole
It's a shame what was done to hole #18 making it into a short par 3 from a challenging par 4/5. Tyandaga needs to add at least 2 more par 4's.
Good for the price
First time golfing here, as stated in title great course for the price and has great par 3-5s to practice your skills. I went on a colder day so not many people on the course but had a great afternoon. Only down side was the restaurant/bar was closed. Apparently a third party runs the restaurant and no one showed up to work so pretty unfortunate to grab some food or drinks before starting the back 9 or after the round.

Throwback
Ensure twosomes are grouped with twosomes for pace of play. Ensure carts are ready to go instead of having an 80 year old volunteer try his best to trick the cart ins to having a key.
Water the greens once in a while and have a Marshall out to at least pretend to monitor the pace of play. Maybe move the tee blocks once a week so there is grass to actually tee off from instead of dirt.

Excellent fall round of golf
The course is in very good condition for this time of year. The fairways are free of leaves. Note that some pin placements are quite challenging, at least on the days we played. Pace of play was good. Great value for the money. Only drawback is three par threes in a row on the back nine.
We teed off at 10:10 am finshed 4 pm.
we were held up at every hole with min. ou 2 as much as 4 froups of 4.
no marshals there was a fight on hole 12 verbal one.
won't play again.

Beautiful day in late October
Great day , condition of the course nice for this time of year. Greens incredibly hard and unpredictable.Not a bad thing, just surprised of the condition. 18 holes in under 4 hours on a Saturday! Fantastic.
