About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Golfer Reviews
Very challenging little course
I really love all the trees and the holes are very fun to play
Bad layout and poor condition
Some holes are challenging.....but overall not a well designed course. To make it worse, the course condition was very bad.
Good value for money
The course layout has been altered since I last played it a few years back. Long distance between holes and power cart highly recommended. Some holes have heavy congestions. The fairway conditions average due to very dry weather this year. Putting green condition pretty good.
Not worth $70
We played 18 with karts. From the first hole we were delayed 15min and we finished just over 5hrs after our original tee time. We were stuck behind 2 slow groups where we saw on the 6th hole had nobody ahead of them. Didn’t see a ranger until the 12th hole when he told us to pick up the pace as the group ahead finished the par 3 next hole as we were putting out. We finished 13 and 14 (par 3’s) and were stuck waiting behind the same group on the 15th - 18th. Other than poor pace of play, most tee boxes were often not level or poorly maintained. Comparatively to other $70 courses this one was not worth it. Maybe worth $45 for a round with kart.
Awful
After the first tee off it went downhill. Check in and starter were very friendly. When you have two holes that were par 4’s and now 3’s it affects your enjoyment of
the course. It’s very obvious they are letting the course go to build on. It’s a shame as this use to be a very enjoyable track.
6 hour round
Crazy long round marshal was only driving around to check beers but never keeping any pace of play, short course with crazy greens and horrible tee boxes
Great round of golf
The service was great. Very accomodating. There was a good pace of play and the course was in good condition. Great afternoon of golf had by all.
Poorly maintained course
I’ve played here many years ago and I’ve always remembered it to be a fairly decent course. The fairways used to be well maintained, and the grass was always nice. However, this course has turned into a dump. The grass is terrible, not watered often, greens were inconsistent, no real cart paths, and tee boxes were horrible. In addition, there are a lot of kids playing during the summer because of the deal that they get. The problem this brings is that some don’t have proper golf etiquette. If I didn’t get this deal from Golf Now, I wouldn’t even consider playing here.
