Tyandaga Golf Course
About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

6 hour round
Crazy long round marshal was only driving around to check beers but never keeping any pace of play, short course with crazy greens and horrible tee boxes
Great round of golf
The service was great. Very accomodating. There was a good pace of play and the course was in good condition. Great afternoon of golf had by all.
Poorly maintained course
I’ve played here many years ago and I’ve always remembered it to be a fairly decent course. The fairways used to be well maintained, and the grass was always nice. However, this course has turned into a dump. The grass is terrible, not watered often, greens were inconsistent, no real cart paths, and tee boxes were horrible. In addition, there are a lot of kids playing during the summer because of the deal that they get. The problem this brings is that some don’t have proper golf etiquette. If I didn’t get this deal from Golf Now, I wouldn’t even consider playing here.
An amazing 1st season day
Course was in great conditions, greens were well kept. Was allowed to go on my own & had a great day. The threesome in front were really good & I kept pace finishing in about 3..5 hrs. Back nine was my undoing, & 17 (I missed the sign & got lost but someone directed me back) was a brutal narrow tree lined winding alley, which got me but I look forward to playing it again.
Overall a really great course. Highly recommend.
Course was in great condition with very good greens(a few pins on side of hills made them challenging)
Only drawback or recommendation - while the tees all had good turf conditions , they were too bumpy/hilly very often making it to have a flat lie or normal stance.
This is a great course to play.
This course was in great shape and the pace of play was quick.
Nice course with interesting variation of holes
Played here twice now.
Overall I really enjoy it.
The 2nd and 18th have been modified (I assume temporarily but not sure) which makes the 2nd a rather dull hole but the rest is very good. Some very different holes. There’s a run of 3 par 3 holes in a row which I found quite cool to play.
The greens play pretty fast but they play true so even for a high handicapper, it’s readable.
I think they probably need to add 2 minutes to the gap between tee times though. I’ve never managed to play 18 in less than 4.5 hours and my friends and I play ‘ready golf’ with max 60 seconds to look for a ball.
