About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

Great course for a muni
All in all it was a smooth round. Biggest takeaway is friendly staff and great landscaping/conditions.
Zero management, 5 hour round, inconsistent greens
I realize this is a municipal course but to have a marshal that doesn't actually manage tee times is a joke. The course is so short and with so many below average players playing tee times every 8 minutes will not suffice. Greens were horribly inconsistent ranging from PGA speed to farmers field with no rhyme or reason why. The round took over 5 hours with at least 10-15 minutes of waiting between each hole. With a 10 person backup before the first tee they wouldn't let us start at 10 either despite absolutely no other golfers past the 7th hole (which they admitted to us). Some people just don't know how to run a golf course.
Pretty good Municipal course
Great day great round course is great just wish we had a heads up that hole 2 was moved we played 18 twice.
Great Municipal Course
Played on the last day of the 2024 season… cold and rainy, but the course layout made up for the weather. Will definitely play again con 2025
Great Municipal Course
Golf has become a little to "boo-gee" lately as the kid would say. This course is the perfect remedy. A no-frills open layout course, that won't punish you for the odd errant shot. Aside from the tee boxes being a little rough, this course is a good variety of challenging holes at a more than reasonable price.... not to mention it's within the Burlington city limits! give it a try! oh ya, the staff were super friendly ,,, what's not to like!
Challenging course
Short but still challenging all your skills, need to hit your shots precisely. Cart paths and T boxes need some work.
4th Round
It is a short but challenging course because of the topography of the area. For a public course it has some of the most challenging greens. Very few flat surfaces. And the pin placements are often in challenging spots. Well worth the price. Too bad that the 18th has been shortened to a very easy 3 from a long interesting par 5. Similariily the par 4 14th has been made into a relatively easy par 3.
Pretty and tight
Have to be fairly accurate especially in autumn. Lost several balls that were in play just off the fairway or under the many, many trees :) Also... so many little hazzards and blind shots. Pretty fun tho, especially if you play with someone who knows the course.
