About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Tied my best round
Thanks to a course in excellent condition and greens that roll true, I tied my lowest round ever, 69, 3 under par. My other 3 under par round was over 30 years ago.

Hot dog
One of the best hot dogs I’ve ever had at a course. Course was great but greens were extremely slow.

Course in nice condition even after heavy rain
Had 6 inches of rain the day before, so it was Cart Path Only which I was expecting.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Greens were in great condition. I'll definitely go back.
My only complaint is that the threesome in front of us was really slow. Looked like they were playing a scramble. It would have been nice if a Marshall would have speeded them up.

Shouldn't be $90 plus
pretty good twilight rate around $55-$60, but pace of play is incredibly slow. greens were good, fairways were a bit dry with dead spots, carts need to be renewed. this place is good as a last minute round but nothing more. dont spend $90 to play on the weekends here.

Course was in really great shape. I really enjoy talking to the course starter that was working that morning. Great guy and you could really tell he was enjoying his job.

Twin creeks
Great layout, greens in great condition. Would play here again. No GPS on carts.

Slow pace of play
The course was in good shape for the money. The only issue was the pace of play. It took a little over 5:15 to play on a weekday. Ranger came by on 10 and said he would keep it moving but never saw him again.

Twin Creeks is definitely one of the best public courses in DFW! Conditions are excellent and the greens are in great shape! Other courses in the area should take note !
