Used golfnow with special to book this course. Due to this value for money considered good. Otherwise regular price just reasonable. Course is tight and we found it dangerous due to being in exposed positions far too often in the line of tee boxes and other golfers playing .
Mayfield
Course was in great shape! I enjoy there! Only thing was too many walkers holding up play.
Slow play
The speed of play was quite slow due to the white leg being closed for maintenance. It was difficult getting into a rhythm.
Great day at Mayfiled
This course is in excellent condition. Some holes are fairly open, but then some are very challenging. You really get to work on all parts of your game at this course.
This course is a must if you are an avid golfer
This course is challenging and perfect for the intermediate player. I find the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The course is in pristine shape. Hats of to the grounds crew. I highly recommend this course.
Pleasant surprise
A little wet, but the course was in pristine condition. Didn't expect much, but it exceeded my expectations. Good value, no frills golf.

A family friendly course. Very tight front nine. A great course with a variety of options to use every club in your bag..
Wouldn't pay regular price
Confusing signage. No proper washrooms on the course. Pace of play too slow and no course marshall to monitor. People allowed to walk holding up pace of play. Will not play this course again.
excellent time
I have always enjoyed playing at Mayfield Golf Club. The holes are challenging, but possible for the average player. (possible, if you are not upset scoring bogey or double bogey.otherwise you have to be an excellent golfer to consistently make par on any hole, or lucky.) The newest nine holes are extremely challenging for those big hitters who love a challenge. The original red and white 9 holes are well loved, and well maintained, and very charming..
The staff and management are exceptionally friendly, competent, and all round excellent!
I played the red course twice, (my choice), scoring a 51 on the first nine, and 53 on the second. The greens were excellent! Unfortunately, my putting was not.
I have been playing at Mayfield since we moved into the area in 1990.
I highly recommend this golf course, as it is privately owned by the original builders, and not a corporation.

The course is close to home - The price is right - The staff are all friendly and great. Just a great atmosphere and course for intermediate golfers.
