Mayfield Golf Club - White

Great value for the money. Friendly staff and more than reasonable prices (golf, drinks & food). Played Blue to Red and had a good time, not the hardest holes but the thick rough makes finding stray balls that much harder. Several holes will challenge you to either lay up or go for the carry. Will definitely make this a regular stop!

Best course I've been to all year. Great conditions. Best sand consistency too! Not clumpy or hard at all. Besides the minor "in repair" parts of some of the fairways (those spots were mostly in the rough anyway) everything was in great condition. This is now my default go-to course!

I arrived half an hour before my tee time and was ushered into a threesome that tee'd off 15 minutes before my booked tee time. Not a big deal, but I wasn't given the cart I booked because the threesome already had two carts.
The club is split into 3 9 hole courses signified by colours Blue, White, Red. So when you book 18 you'll play 2 of these 3 coloured courses.
I played the Red and White courses. The Red was a really nice way to start the day, as a beginner. The White course was quite a bit harder, but still enjoyable.
If you're a beginner and you play the White course, bring extra balls.
Also, it took us 5 hours to play and we never saw a refreshment cart, so take extra water or Gatorade or whatever you need to keep hydrated.

got a good deal and played a fun 18 holes! The fine lady in the clubhouse went above and beyond to accommodate us and that was greatly appreciated.
The conditions weren't perfect but were not an issue. Greens were quick and enough of a challenge. Toughest thing were the 3-4 LONG par 3s . it seemed like there were 4 holes that were over 215 yards. Now, i have no issue with a long par 3 but having that many made it quite hard! i always love a short par 3 over water instead.
Overall good value and ill return.
Golf carts were a little ratty though

what a little gem this course turned out to be. the greens had to be nicer than any high end course i've played in the Toronto area this year so far. will definitely return to play this course again

On average Course is fine except pace of play needs improvement. Needs to be better Marshall.

You shouldn't have Seniors hitting from Blue Tee, when they should be hitting from White.

A bit busy , but very friendly and well kept . Good distance enjoyed my day would return .

Considering what other courses are in the area for a little more money.... Mayfield doesn't come close to being good value. The own and operate the oldest/sketchiest carts i've ever seen! I'm surprised half of them even work!. Tough little track and in decent condition but i would play Banty Roost instead.. Carts aside.

Allowed drunk/high kids continue to play a round. They were puking in the trees.

As well marshals had no sense of how to talk to people. My wife isn't the fastest golfer but instead of kindly reminding us to keep up the pace he drove up and automatically started to ridicul and yell at us.

Experience was ruined after that. I didn't pay to get belittled.

Excellent weather, great course conditions considering the recent heavy rainfall, reasonable pace of play despite being fully booked up.

i may not have been the best golfer on the course on fathers day and i know i was far from the worst but at least as a group we kept our pace going as good as we could in respect for the group behind us,unfortunately the group in front of us didn't see it our way,so instead of having a enjoyable golf game for father's day turned out to be a frustrating day on a golf course.This isn't the first time this have happen to me on this course,so maybe course management should pay more attention to slow play golfers so it wouldn't spoil everyone's golf day.

Pace of play was so slow and the conditions so bad I walked off after 14 holes .
First par three on blue course we had to wait behind a 6 ball (2 threesomes combined as they were already fed up with wait times ) and a 4 ball .
Couse maintenamce was so bad people were losing their balls when only 2 feet off of the fairway because the first cut was so high .
We almost lost balls in fairways in front of greens because of thick grass and muddy patches.,
I've played Mayfield for years and never encountered these conditions in previous years.
I won't be back unless they start managing the course in a professional manner .

Generally, course status was terrible.
Glass was mixed with mud and soaked.
They didn't maintain course we'll.
It was quite expensive in looking course ststus

We booked thru Golfnow and paid online as it was a special discount offer. As we were a 3-ball we had two carts included in the deal. One of the 3 bailed last minute, which meant no refund. No problem - we knew that would be the case. But it meant we had paid for 2 carts and they were unable to refund for one of the carts (simple voucher to the bar or similar would have been easy enough?). But instead we were 'interrogated' by at least 6 separate 'officials' on why we had 2 carts! Simple - we paid for it and you won't refund it. Which we had to explain in detail on every occasion (including on the course to the Course 'Marshall'). It was extremely irritating - especially as we had in effect overpaid anyway (for the player who didn't show), and we were paired up with a guy playing on his own. There must be some way for GolfNow and the course to be able to deal with this so that the customer doesn't get bombarded and berated all day. Needless to say, there are too many other courses to try and we won't be going back. Especially as it was a 5 hour round on a mid-week day.

Course is fairly easy and is a shorter course even when playing from the back tee deck. The course has three nines red, blue, and white. i have had the chance to play all three and they are all about the same level of difficulty. The course is a great course for juniors and players who are new to the game.

This is a nice family run golf course - staff are very friendly and accommodating. Course has 3 nines - I played Red & White, both courses are mostly flat but have a couple holes each that have some challenging terrain. The day I played the course was very wet due to lots of rain the week prior - but still playable. Many of the par 3's are quite long (~200 yds), greens were is good shape and mostly flat.

The weather did not co-operate, but the staff displayed extreme courtesy and friendliness. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone.

Been going to Mayfield Golf Course for years now. One of the best Value golf courses in the GTA. The white and blue 9's are my favorite.
