Great course early in the year
Carlisle was the first course of the year for me and they utilized all 3 nines perfectly to have a flowing 18 hole course of great condition for the time of the year. Will play again when a good deal comes up on golfnow
I enjoyed playing a round of golf on this course
The course has several challenges that require planning and good ball placement. I find Birdie opportunities can easily change into bogies
Love this course
Great value. Difficult enough. Well maintained.
Will be back.
Great course for the average golfer with a couple of 'tricky' holes to watch out for.
The weather was cooperative and we may have been the first to Tee off at 8 am on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. There were few people on the course which was in great condition including the greens. A word of caution, particularly if you are walking as it is easy to get on the 'wrong' course. We did this on the 3rd hole of the North course and wound up on the South course. Watch for the signs and read the T markers.
very nice with good challange
excellent value for the golf now value. nice to have 27 holes to chose from. open but still good challenge
Great scenery
Always enjoy playing here, even if the greens were a little rugged this tine.
Great tee time
I been playing around Burlington, Hamilton and north for the last couple years golfing. Carlisle is one of highly recommendation golf course you must try - above par experience
good layout, greens in very poor condition
Pro Shop Staff are very inflexible. We arrived 45 minutes before our tee time. There was no one on the tee but they told us that we would not be able to tee off. Because we booked thru Golf Now we had to wait till our allotted time. They told us we could have gone off earlier if we had paid the regular rates....the 3 of us took this as they being extremely predudicial. None of us will ever, ever come back, and will certainly tell our frends of this treatment.

Great course, would play it again
Very nice course - we played the north and south 9's, nice mixture of challenges. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Very friendly, cordial greeting at the pro shop upon arriving.
Golfnow deal of $50 +tx made it a better value
excellent greens
played north-south impressive water features. golf-now package is for 18holes wasnt sure if getting 9 or 18 holes.
One of my favourites in the region.
One of my favourites in the region. An interesting 27 hole course as a result offering variety each time you play. Tight layout and frequent use for corporate group play means you often get players from other foursomes ;playing off of your fairway.
This Course is very Playable
Course is always in good shape and offers tee block for all skill levels. enough trouble to keep you honest but fair enough that your not looking for your ball all afternoon.
Not Customer Oriented
Force to play the course under torrential rain conditions with no offer of a rain check. Many holes were unplayable with bunkers filled with rain water and greens so water soaked it was impossible to putt at all.
That kind of customer dealings makes me unable to recommend this course for others.
Golf at its Best
We played the North and East courses much to our satisfaction. The wide open spaces allow for a good margin of error and pleasant play. The courses are in great condition and offer challenges to all levels of golfers. Highly recommended and we will play there again soon.
Dissapointed
Andrew and Jim in the proshop were condescending, we had picked up a good deal here on golfnow which they scoffed/complained at when checking in. A thunderstorm stopped our play on the 7th fairway of the east course (we were supposed to play north), we requested a raincheque, they said they would have no problems if it wasn't a prepaid golfnow time, told us to call golfnow, i asked how i could prove to golfnow that it was rained out and they assured me that when golfnow calls them they will tell them it was rained out at 4pm after 7 holes. After calling golfnow, they reached Carlisle golfcourse, Andrew told golfnow we had played more than 9 holes, i refused to accept that and golfnow called back and spoke to Jim, who also told golfnow we played more than 9. Carlisle is not a customer friendly environment, the cashiers are rude and bitter, not one drink cart, the tee decks are sloped, yardages are not marked clearly. The only light was the class act customer service of GolfNow, they refunded our tee time and took care of their customer, Thank You very much GolfNow!!!
love hitting off the fairways. got my first eagle there on par 4 front 9.
one of my favorite public courses. I always play well here
Slow play on a Monday afternoon.
No marshalls to move play along. I did see 4 marshalls teeing it up and they laughed when I said play was slow. I won't be going back to this course.
golf
Every hole we waited, not one marchall on the course
