Dragon's Fire Golf Club

The course was in excellent shape. Lots of challenging holes. Greens are tough. Great for your average player. Typically a very good pace at Dragons Fire. This day was slow at 4 1/2 hours. A bit unexpected at 6:30am. The marshall did a good job getting people moving.

Pretty nice course but a bit too pricey. The condition of the course was fine but could be improved a bit and pace of play was a bit slow at time, giving the mosquitoes the chance to catch you up and eat you alive, which detracted from the experience.

Very enjoyable except for the bunkers. They are acutely lacking sand. You need a very low bounce wedge as the bunkers are hardpan.

Great bang for your buck. Course was maintained immaculately.

The course is in fairly good shape. Considering the heavy rain we received the day before, it drains quite well. The greens have quite a few ball marks, but that's because so many golfers do not repair them. I repair my own plus 1 or 2 others.

The pace of play was going quite nicely... for the front 9. Not so much for the back 9. We finished in 4 1/2 hours which, in my opinion, is too long, but it's the norm in the GTA.

The washroom facility is in desperate need of maintenance, but is clean

This course is challenging but not difficult. I will play it again.

Great course and a challenge for golf. The forest usually lines every hole so you can't spray the ball. Never go over the greens or you'll be in the woods too. I'd play the course a lot more if they had a morning rate. We used to play here every week at 6:40 am when they had a morning rate for ~$60 but now play other courses in the early morning that do. If they brought it back, we would return.

First time playing this course but perfect

Beautiful view, nice layout, lots of wild life

I would prefer paying a little more just to have sand in the bunkers.

The bunker conditions really stand out as the weakest part of this course. Obviously the grounds staff have raked them but it's difficult to prepare the mud that lies at the bottom of several bunkers.

Great track on a beautiful day unfortunately we spent more time complaining and thinking about the Marshalls than focusing on our game.

All to in the end tell us well played ahead of desired playing time, leave people be!

A really good solid track and in fantastic condition right now. It is scenic, greens roll true, a good challenge. We really enjoy this course.

Pro’s

-Tee boxes, Fairways, bunkers and greens were in good shape.

-Had a hot dog at the turn that and it was one of the better course dogs I’ve had.

Cons

- pace was extremely slow

- got eaten alive my mosquitoes, definitely would have to bring bug spray if I were to play here again.
