Dragons fire
Tell you the course is in great shape and than you show up and all the greens were top dressed, also make sure you eat before you get there. Menu is too expensive,
Good course a bit pricey
This is a great course overall. Challenging and well laid out. But the price for this course rivals some top tier courses. It is just a bit too expensive
A pleasure
Was a pleasure to play this course. Immaculate condition. Thank you
Slay the Dragon
Easy booking even for single, as they can book you into open tee-time slots. Course was in good shape, greens were hard to hold but were fairly true. You need to be pretty accurate off the tee in some locations, as there is some dense tree lined fairways. Rounds can take up to 5 hours or so to play on the weekends.
Thoroughly enjoyable
Great course, early in the year still, but in mostly excellent condition. A few of the sand traps were pretty thin, but it would not have been a problem if I would have stayed out of them!
Staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely play here again.
Staff are miserable
We played the course today and firstly the course is worth playing. Nice as you don’t see other holes and is tight. But the club house staff, the old guy who is the course Marshall and the last starter are the most miserable people I have come across at a golf course. It made the start of the game no fun at all. They need to change these staff to people who enjoy being outside and working with the public. I must say Meg the cart girl was the best of the group and should traine the others.
Phenomenal Public Track
A pleasure to play. A clear adept staff as to attention to detail and care of the course. It is incredibly maintained and a pleasure to play 🎯😄
Great Experience and Course
Love this course. Tree lined with lots of bunkers, water and fast greens. A great challenge. Every staff member we were in contact with were very friendly. Great starter !
Great Track, Over Priced
Great track, challenging greens
Very expensive, $100 to walk.
Excellent course
Would recommend for all golfers, challenging with the opportunity to recover from wayward shots
Brilliant Public Track!
This course is a great test of golf. Not a weak hole on the golf course with a great mix of Par 3s, 4s and 5s. A tougher test for the higher handicapper, which my playing partners agreed can lead to some very slow rounds of 5+ hours. The green complexes are a great mix of undulations, breaks and speed to test even the best putters. Course conditions for the time of year were fantastic so the course super deserves a mention. I say with confidence this is one of the best tracks west of the GTA. A great closing stretch of holes and real beauty to finish is the 18th. On a side note I docked marks for price but I understand the need to run a business.
Pace of play needs improvement
Regular golfer at Dragons Fire... Understandably its the first few rounds of the year, and Dragon's was one of the first courses to open - however pace of play NEEDS to improvement. If Marshalls are just tasked with driving around in laps without even stoping to waive, I wonder what the point is? 5.5+ a round each round I've played in April. Get people moving through the drivable par 4 or spread the team times out!
