Conestoga Golf and Country Club - Village/Moors

The course has a clay base with patchy grass. (Muddy fairways). The greens were in good shape for November. The second nine was aerated but expected for this time of the year. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was terrible. Course was over crowded. Had a very slow 4 some in front of us with a 2 hole gap to the next group. After 9 holes The starter moved us to another 9 but after 2 holes ran into a 5some which slowed everything down again. Had several groups of Jr golfers playing multiple balls per hole slowing things down. No marshal seen all day.

Played Villages/Moors. Late in the year so was expected that there might be aerated greens. Back nine the greens had not been aerated which through off my putting 'feel'.

I enjoyed the course and recommend it. Just the transition from aerated to non aerated mines was a bit jarring.

Disappointing that we could only do 15 holes in 4 hrs....it was so backed up, it was not the best day. I know you are trying to get the most out of these last days but really. We stated 20 minutes late and the pace was so slow.

Greens were air raided and sanded could not even putt on front nine, wish I was given a discount or even told before I played

The carts are terrible and very choppy when starting!

Tee blocks very poor, some greens brown spots, dirt on greens, not cleaned or blown off! Won't go back there that's foresure...

Very very unfriendly Pro Shop attendant taking our money! Cart stalled and intermittent gas pedal.

Disgusted at price for riding cart separately $30...

rediculous. I have never paid that anywhere else this year to ride seperatly due to Covid!!!!! Rip off!!!!!!!!! This is not an $80 dollar course whatsoever!!!!!!!

Very nice starter and beer cart girl must say. Restaurant snack bar food very good too.

Well not overly happy paying 79$ for that course in October. Not sure i would in July either. Pretty sure that wont happen again.

Love this course. 7th round here this year.

Heard about a water problem they've had but in light of it, course is in good shape, except the greens. Greens are rock hard, land short of the green and allow a front roll. Greens are also fast.

Shoot a club shorter on approach shots and roll onto greens as they are as hard as I've ever seen. Good fun tho..

The four some in front of us were brutal.

The weather was perfect fo golf today while great did bring numerous players to the courses.... a few of the groups were, at best, new to the game,

The course offers many different challenging holes unfortunately a 5+ hour round is a bit much.

First time playing on the course. I played on the Moors and Goose Run. Lots of water hazards so controlling your shots are a must. The course itself was well maintained but felt tight since they fit 27 holes in a 18 hole space. Hole 6 of Goose Run had the hole on a slope, which I believe is terrible placement. The slightest tap from downslope and the ball would start rolling like a boulder from the Indiana Jones films. Even when I putted uphill, the ball would stop and start rolling downhill....
