Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Lakes/Hills
About
Tucked away in quiet Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The club features three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations, each of which offer plenty of variety from one another. Originally opened in 1961 under the name Windsor Park, the Hills and the Woods golf courses formed the original 18-hole course at Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. The Lakes nine was added in 1994. When combined with the Hills nine, the two provide a challenging round with plenty of water and elevation changes. The landscape is covered with mature trees and abundant in native wildlife, giving golfers a scenic complement to their game.

Much improved
Our 4 sum were very pleased with the changes and overall improvement that they made to this course. The fairways and greens are in very good shape.
The greens are a little on the slow side and could be made a little faster. No. 17 is a par 5 but should be a par 4.
I can'nt comment on the rest of the staff, but the 2 people we were involved with (front desk and starter) were not very friendly. they should be given some hospitality lessons. The people in these positions should leave a customer feeling good about the service he is receiving. Unfortunetly these people left all of us feeling like the place lacked that little something that can make a place feel special.
Great features!
I paid about very low price with ride through GolfNow,com and enjoyed the game. Almost everything was excellent.
Great Course.
This course is in great shape, With Bear like greens. And tight fairways
Although the warm up tees are on mats not what I would call a true driving range, but then again the average golfer really does not warm up.
foggy morning
The weather was not the greatest, it had rained a lot the night before and it was foggy. So the course was saturated making conditions difficult. I found the greens except for a few on the "woods" in very good shape as well as the tees. On a nicer day it would have been a much nicer experience! I played the course 30 years ago and it has greatly improved!!
Quality track
Very nice layout. Went from lakes to hills. Lakes greens very undulating and therefore slower... Overall course was in great shape and was a good test of golf.
old favourite
It has been a few years since I played here and I have to say that the new owners has done a great good renovating the course and club house. He changed a few holes entirely and left some of the holes just as they were.
Great day
Staff friendly, course in great shape pace of play right on time
Flamboriugh Hills Great Course
Course was in great shape. A few greens had a little winter kill but what course doesn't after last winter. Overall great course and will return.
Beautiful course but a bit pricey
Played all 27 holes this past week. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in very good shape with quick greens and well kept fairways. Quite a few blind shots due to the terrain and a GPS on the cart would be very helpful. Considering the rate of $76 with a cart for 18 holes I expected GPS on the carts. Overall a pleasant day, but many courses in the area just as nice for much less money.
Course is in great shape
Friendly staff _ course is in great shape after winter _ lots of blind shots as course is hilly with lots of different landing angles. Greens in good to great shape _ well worth the money and travel.
This course has great features
overpriced!! for money paid. only wort 60$ max . course is in good shape greens slow and ok shape
This course plays long. The fairways are generous for a straight hitter.
Thoroughly enjoyed the round and the patio and food after. The course was in great shape with enough challenges for all.
worth playing !
course was in great shape, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.as luck would have it,we were rained out but I'LL BE BACK
very well maintained
great golfcourse, excellent staff, a real gem, some of the finest holes you wish to play.looking foward to our next round of golf and would highly recommend
this course to anyone playing golf.put this course on your most play list
Pleasant day
Course is in great shape. Greens are a challenge. Played Woods and Lakes. Lakes 9 holes is a excellent track. Look forward to next round.
Impressed
Really really enjoyed this, great layout. Love that they had a small but mint condition driving range right out the front of the clubhouse near the first tees great way to use some of the extra acreage and allow players to warm up Played every shot I had throughout the day in to perfect greens that ran true. Don't normally review but thought this club deserved it. Marshall's kept an eye on everybody's play to see their level and move them up on tees and course if need be. Fairways were excellent. Some holes we had to stop and take a few photos. Shot a 38 front so with a decent game on that was a pretty enjoyable round. Being up in the hills had that nice fresh pine smell throughout the course. Can't say enough. Will be back.
This course in great shape
Fairways were plush. Greens good. If you have not played the course before beware of water in front of some greens that is not visible until you are upon it.
They should have a map on the score card to show hazards other than sand traps.. Sand in traps is not good.
wonderful course
great value for the money. fairways and greens in good condition.
Just a very average course
A great deal for the $35 Golf Now price but really, that's all it was worth because of the spring time conditions. It also seemed a little slow for a Monday. The Clubhouse outshone the course in my opinion. It is challenging though in the respect that you have to be able to hit good irons off of many different lies to multiple small greens. After all, it is called Flamborough "Hills".
