Flamborough Hills Golf and Country Club - Lakes/Hills
About
Tucked away in quiet Copetown, Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club offers 27 holes of championship golf. The club features three unique nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations, each of which offer plenty of variety from one another. Originally opened in 1961 under the name Windsor Park, the Hills and the Woods golf courses formed the original 18-hole course at Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. The Lakes nine was added in 1994. When combined with the Hills nine, the two provide a challenging round with plenty of water and elevation changes. The landscape is covered with mature trees and abundant in native wildlife, giving golfers a scenic complement to their game.

Golfer Reviews
Great trek that is very well maintained!
The course is named appropriately! Lots of hills on all 3 nines. Quite a few blind shots into the green on par 4's and 5's.
Friendly staff and all three courses are well maintained. And it wasn't too busy so there was no waiting between shots. Great!
Only suggestion is to have GPS on the carts. The courses are championship level and the GPS would put them at par with many other courses at the same calibre.
Cutting Lawns during the whole round
We have always loved playing at the Flamborough Downs Golf Course. But on this occasion, there were multiple tractors at every hole cutting the fairways or the tee boxes. At the 5th hole of the Woods course, they even turned the sprinklers on to wet the repairs the grounds crew had completed. It was very unfortunate that we had to endure grounds maintenance during our play which adverselly affected our play. We know that grounds maintenance have to be done. But we don't ever recall the extend of disruptions that we have experienced at other golf courses.
Greens were great
greens were small but in great shape, the fairways and tees were in real good shape. the tees were flat as they are supposed to be. It was just a pleasant experience with great weather.
Nice course if you play fast
Course was in great shape after a storm, cart girl was nowhere to be found on the front nine and came around the back with 3 holes to go. Constantly felt rushed from the players behind us with the Marshall following. If they didn't over book, it would've been a 5 star day.
new memories from an old favorite
was a member 25 years ago until I moved away
what a wonderful surprise when I played yesterday.
everything was fantastic, staff was super & course magnificent , weather was too hot to enjoy the challenge of the course. well worth the over 2 hour drive
A very enjoyable day!!
We were a twosome and played Woods and Hiils. Both were in excellent shape and the pace of play was perfect. We didn't experience any backlogs, nor did we have anyone coming up on us from behind. We finished our round in about 3 1/2 hours. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. A beautiful clubhouse and great food. We will definitely play here again!!
Great atmsphere
Nice golf course.Challenging yet fun.Greens were in great shape..Staff was very friendly and courteous..
I would def play here again.
Flamborough Golf Course Review
Course was in great shape. We played as a two some, behind a two groups of three ladies. We couldn't keep up with them as they were playing ready golf. Nice to see people play at a pace to ensure golf is pleasurable. We played in 3 hours - 15 mins.
A Very Good Challenge
We played the Hills/Woods nines. It was a hot day yet because we teed off in the late afternoon the day turned out great. Course is in good shape. Lot's of challenging holes and many opportunities for shot making. I'd like to try the Woods/Lakes nines next time.
Awsome Golf Course
Amazing course for the money. Great use of the available terrain. course set up with 4 tee boxes. Average golfers to experienced pros will love it. Pace of play extremely good. 18 holes in under 4 hours. Very friendly pro shop, Restaurant is the best. Great value, excellent Chef. There are 3 nines, Lakes Woods and Hill. All have their moments but nothing too punishing.
Come out to their Sunday afternoon special 9 holes, dinner and entertainment You will really enjoy it.
Flamborough Hills
Very nice course..staff very friendly..will return
Nice to be back
Haven't played here in years but was pleasantly surprised by how mature it has become and it was in great shape. They also don't gouge you as much for beer as most other courses do in Ontario which makes it a little more enjoyable.
Will play again for sure.
Great Course
Played this course yesterday and what a great test of golf it was and the course is in beautiful shape. Nicest course we have played so far this year. We will be going back again.

Great track, horrifying food
Course was great, good pace and good price with golf now hot deal..... My playing partner and I purchased 2 hot dogs at 9, the nuns were so stale and the hot dogs were horrifying. Worst food I've ever had.
Course is challenging with helpful staff
we played Hills/Woods and we found the course a challenging but enjoyable course to play. The course was in good shape and now that we have played it we would have a better understanding of how to attack the holes for our next round. Staff was helpful and the food was standard fare but the dining room was very inviting & comfortable.
Would recommend others to choose Flamborough Hills as a nice choice for a day of golf.
not bad
Played for the first time. Lots of mature trees so no splay here. Decent price on golf now, course in not bad shape but green do have some dead areas.
Will play again
Excellant conditions aside from a few brown patches on the greens. The speed of the greens was excellant. T-boxes and fairways in good condition, electric carts. Challenging fairways and approaches. It helps to puck up the course description.
Food: I will try again. For now suggest that you stick to beverages.
Flamboroigh Hills/Woods Great Day
Course in excellent cond. overall and considering time of year. Few sand traps were compensated for by slope variance on all holes. Look forward to playing there again.
