The Quarry Golf Club

This course is very challenging....the greens are wicked. It's in great shape a very good challenge for all golfers. Again bring your A game when putting. I am rating it tied for second out of six courses in the area. Baxters creek number one, Bellmere Winds tied for second. About to play Black Diamond on the 4 th of August. What a great golfing trip to Peterborough or Lindsey!!!

The Course.

The course itself has improved since we played it two years ago for mother’s day however for the price it needs to get more organized. The staff person at the club house was very rude and treated us like we were wasting her time. She was not welcoming and didn’t provide any assistance or direction to us. We were waiting to start on hole 1 and then the starter (who was not there while we waited) came to tell us that the proshop should have told us they were starting everyone on hole 10. So we played our first 9 and then when we got to 1 again there were teams that were in front of us again starting new. Again the starter was not there (he was over at the patio talking to people) so we had to wait and then we had people right on us behind because they were also starting on 1 rather than 9. It rushed us the entire last 9 holes. There was the people coming who did start on 9 and then new people starting on 1 all together. It was a mess with no starting or staff to organize it. We did stay for a drink and food after and the staff person was very friendly and over worked as I think she was the only one working both the bar, kitchen and serving. Not sure if this was just an off day but they need to improve their issues with the lack of staff. The course itself has improved a lot since the last time we were there. The greens need some maintenance and the women’s tee box needs more repair materials so you can fill the holes and as lot were very chopped up

Course was in great shape and is a nice track overall. Pace of play is consistently poor though. Have played here 3 times in the past month and every round I have seen or been stuck behind groups of 7-8 players slowing down the entire course so they can play with their large group. Nothing done about it and no rangers/marshalls. Would expect better for the green fee.

Great course in fantastic shape. The play was a bit slow but that's because the BEL tournament was on.. Will play there more if I can keep getting good deals like I did on Thursday.

Course rained out. Send me back my $75.00 deposit.

Weather wasn't the greatest but the course was in good shape for late October.

Had a great time. Layout was cool and course condition was great. Loved the black sand in the bunkers. Course just had a great look.

Can't say anything but positive things about The Quarry golf course. very difficult course to play. Pase of play was perfect. I don't have anything negative to say about the course or the conditions. Definitely will be returning next season

They have done well financially this year. Course has been busy , a lot of golfers playing. I believe prices were up. Price of beer from the cart are pretty high, more than all the other public courses . They should give a seniors discount for those over 70 on fixed income too. Would be nice.

The course was in fantastic shape and the layout was great. The greens were perfect condition and very fast. Overall very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend this course and plan on playing it again.
