Golfer Reviews
Disappointed
I’ve wanted to play this course for years and finally had an opportunity this past weekend - and was disappointed. The course was not in great shape, tee boxes and fairways were in poor shape, lots of weeds (clover) and dead spots. The layout was challenging and the planes are to be expected so other than the conditions it plays pretty well. The cost reflects the convenience I guess, it sure doesn’t reflect the quality.
Bad Experience
I arrived 30 mins early. I has to wait at the bar for 20 mins to get some drinks to take out on the course. Course was over booked. No beverage cart. Called the proshop from the 11th to ask if there was one on the course. They said they would send it to us. No cart ever showed up. Awkward course layout. 300-400yard par 4s, most of them with water at 250 yards, forget about using your driver for most of the course. On the 16th (I think), came around a corner approaching the tee box and almost got a golf ball in the face. 16th tee box is aiming directly at the approaching golfers coming from the previous hole. No warning signs as you approach. Sand traps are concrete, greens were mediocre, many divots. To top it off, so many planes over head, kinda messes with your focus.
I golf here because its a convenient location for me and my friends, but its not exactly a cheap course so I expected better service and better course maintenance, but I think we'll start going elsewhere after this experience.
Decent but needs some help
Always a challenging track. Sand needs some help. Cart beverages were too few and far between. Should be a little low cost.
Nice course but too pricey
All good - I used a hot deal in GolfNow or I wouldn’t have paid the published green fees - about 20% over priced compared to other courses that are similar
Decent
A decent course with good greens, not mind blowing, could be cheaper for what it is
I would play it again!
lots of water with the winding creek coming into play on many holes. Great option for those in the GTA.
Not worth the price
I’m a get into nature while golfing guy so constant planes overhead was no fun. I knew that going in I guess. But for 130$ I think you can find much better places to play.
