Golfer Reviews
Was a fun course
The waitress at the bar was terrible and was not to be found. We were forced to go elsewhere. There were a few people disappointed with her service. Marshals and beer cart ladies were great. Overall a fun day.
Worst golf experience
Played this course on Monday and for the first time in my life I saw 8 people playing one hole. Marshalls were called out a few times and instead of separating or kicking these people off. Marshalls just told them to speed it up. Like seriously? Need to be way more strict. 3 groups were waiting for these 8 people on the green. My group, then a group at the gold tee, and then a group waiting at the red tees. Disgusting that the Marshalls would be so lenient. Never saw this in my life. When getting back to the proshop, the guy offered me a bag of tees for the trouble. I had to be the one to ask for something after that terrible experience.
Overall a very good experience
Tight layout but very rewarding when you hit your spot. A good variety of types of holes, you must use good course management. This was my first time playing the course and I lost a couple of golf balls. But, it was my problem for trying to execute shots that required discretion. I will go back because I will be aware of the challenge second time round. Challenging but great fun.
Frustratng
Round took a little over 5 hours. Group ahead had no clue as to the fact they were extremely slow and never looked behind them to see that they were holding everyone back.
You can be bad but do not need to be slow.
Marshalls were seen on first couple of holes and not again till 18th and cart drop off. Made playing frustrating and unenjoyable
Too expensive for quality
For the price I paid I expected so much more. The course is very challenging. The group in of us played the golf tees despite being terrible. Held up everyone. Overall a nice course but you’re paying for location.
Improved since the Last Time
This course was in surprisingly good shape. They redesigned the putting green area as well; as the layout of the 9th hole, turning it from a par 5 to a par 4. Tight fairways for most of the way and if you play blues/golds you're in for a decent challenge. Greens were in good shape as well.
Nice round of golf
Good layout with nicely maintained fairways and greens. A good round of golf.
Goofy layout, lots of noise
This course is short and pure course management. There is a winding creek that goes through the entire course and is in play nearly every hole. Only 2-3 holes require driver off the tee.
Being close to Pearson airport, the planes are constantly going over your head for visual and audio distractions. There is also some sort of factory/treatment facility next to a few holes which is very loud.
If you have the time, drive elsewhere.
Tight fairways
It requires some accuracy due to snug fairwaysz overall course conditions above average
