No challenge was overlooked in this brilliant Michael Hurdzan design. The 76 bunkers and water on every hole will keep your full attention on the game. The rewards are great and Royal Woodbine's beautifully conditioned fairways and greens make this championship course a real pleasure to play. Just minutes from downtown Toronto on the Mimico Creek Valley, this is one of the area's treasures.

Good - could be great.
Course plays well, is maintained well and is in great condition.
I play a few times every summer and this is my second experience with the starter being unreasonably pushy. We were in the cart 20 minutes ahead of our tee time and he insisted we tee off immediately even though a member of our foursome needed a few minutes to get set up.
I don’t mind getting out there earlier than the tee time and understand the need to keep the course running on or ahead of schedule. I’d just rather not get in an argument with the starter on starting 15 minutes ahead of our tee-time instead of 20.
Play Royal Woodbine with Twosome Player
Booked twosome on June 3 and added with another twosome golfers. Don’t mind played with other golfers. These twosome golfers were new to game, stepped my line on the green many holes and no etiquette.
Royal Woodbine Golf
Always a pleasure to play not only for the golfing but for the planes coming in to land at the airport. You have the feeling that you can almost touch as they fly overhead. Back to golf….friendly staff, challenging greens and course play just under 4 hours. Worth the drive!
Great course conditions
Played in the rain only two groups on the course. Conditions were great.
Good local option with Big City prices!
Good, challenging course within the city, a bit overpriced by about $20 and although in good shape for this time of year I'd say 7.5/10 for the overall condition of the course.
A shot-maker’s dream
Royal Woodbine is consistently in great shape, even at this early time of the season. Greens were smooth, with lots of diabolical pin placements - talk about Sunday pins! Thankfully the greens were slow enough to allow for early season putter jabs. The course is narrow in spots and promotes a great deal of decision making and shot selection - this isn’t a course were driver off the tee for 14 holes is the best play. A couple blind spots off the tee slows pace a little… but overall pace was good for a busy Sunday - clocked in 4:45
The only shortcoming for Royal Woodbine is the absence of amenities- very much a golf course first and foremost. They don’t even try to feel like a “club”.
