Avoid this course after any kind of rain
Golfed at this course the day after a thunderstorm. We had prepaid for 18 holes with a cart, but when we arrived we were informed that no power carts could be used that day. They instead provided a pull cart, but we still had to pay the same price. 12 of the 27 holes were closed due to pooling water, but the entire course should have been shut down. There were massive puddles covering much of the course, the greens were soggy, and the sand traps were like swimming pools.
South is tight
East and west 9's are wide open and fun for all level of players.
South 9 is tight and challenges the best of players.
south 9
enjoyed the south 9,play it twice over the others,if you like the tight fairways and beautiful trees.
Good for money
The cost is very reasonable. However, it needs some maintaining, especially for the greens.
Conditions
The course was well taken care of. the greens can be quick and unpredictable.
My opinion
I played west(out) and south(in) courses.
The south course is more difficult and challengeble than west course. Next time I want to play east course and south course. Everything is O.K.
Especially one of worker(in Pro-shop) is very kind for me after rounding.
Great
Nice people. Loved the south side. I would go there again.
ok course
ok on warm day place lacks indoor lounge food and beverage prices high as always but burgers were good
kind of a meh course
Fairways in rough shape, greens hard to read, and poorly laid out course. Good thing we had a group in front of us to follow otherwise we wouldn't have known where to go as there is no course map provided.
Good course if deal is fantastic
I enjoyed playing because we were playing for less than $1.00 per hole. Conditions were tolerable , but not great. I would recommend it to friends - but with certain qualifiers.
Bssic Course
This course is still young, but has excellent future potential. Despite an excess of goose droppings, the grass conditions are good. Many bunkers were full of water and were unplayable. With the exception of only a couple holes, this is a very wide open and straight track. We played for $9.97 with cart, an exceptional value, but I wouldn't pay full price to play this course again....but discounted I would. In 25 years when the trees mature even more, thus is going to be a really nice course.
Good value through GolfNow
This is a pretty decent course. Good for new golfers and kids too. Course is in decent shape. Downside. Google maps
Sent me to Zehrs in Fergus and my GPS had the course down under it's old name so I had a hard time finding it. The golf now confirmation that they had didn't have much info on it as per the people at the pro shop. Apparently the email they get didn't indicate if it was 9 or 18 or if it included a cart or didn't and my email confirmation lacked info as well. The course was good but booking though golf now for the first time was a little nerve wracking.
cart and 18 for $10.00
Although this is a lower end Golf North course. It is a great value for beginners and has some challenging holes for better golfers wanting real feel practice. Some of the tee boxes were beat up but the greens were in very good shape, compared to some of the better courses I have played. Pace of play was great. The only time loss was based on (LOFT) lack of freakin talent.
The course needs to be restored.
A beautiful layout that is past its prime. The sand traps are being allowed to grow in. It could be a great course with traps and water, and shorter cut on the fairways. Greens are really good.
Favourite in area
Overall it a good course, staff friendly. Never feel rushed and course is in good condition.
Great enjoyable course
we frequent the course all summer as we are at our trailer close by. we enjoy the course a great deal like the set up great for beginner and intermediate golfers staff is friendly food is great course is very well kept.
Nice course
Staff very friendly course condition very good.great course for someone just going out for relaxing game of golf.not a bourse for the serious golfer ,good change fun golf
Good value for price paid
South 9 was really nice. Felt like other course we have played, Lots of trees, green grass. . East 9 very barren, no trees, hard ground, and a lot of goose droppings on the first fairway. On of the holes we could not figure out where the pin was and all of us lost our balls because impossible to see where it lands.
Worst Course ever!
Worst course ever. Who aerates greens in July. Is there even a groundkeeping staff? Fine crops of weeds in bunkers, not much sand. Tall weeds on tees. Don't bother. Indoor golf would be better. Go anywhere else.
Be warned
This course is not in good condition! Some bunkers were roped off as hazards rather than updated. Greens still not back in shape. Imagine yourself in a farmers field that had been cut and some flags put in for targets, but thanks to Golfnow, the round only cost 10$ including a cart. With that in mind, I found a perfect practice facility.
