Long and Open

Play Fergus if your driver is working as there are several long straight holes. The course`s challenge is more in length than hazards. Played East and West which are very open with nary a tree in play. South course has three holes back in the woods which narrows the fairways. One advantage is that the play is normally well paced with everyone moving along.

Fergus on a hot hot day

Course was in average shape however; the hot humid weather wasn't held back due to the general lack of trees and cover on the course. Hot day of golf is still way better than a good day at work. An umbrella for shade would be a good idea if playing here on a hot summer day.

Another Dishevelled Golf North Facility

Course conditions are terrible. Woefully understaffed. To top it off when booking on Golf Now it was $40 due at the course and when we got there it was $50. For $60 I can golf somewhere nice. Forget you ever heard of this place.

Fergus Golf Early

The course on the whole was okay. Not good but okay. Could be the brutal winter we had but the greens were full of holes and bare patches. Fairways were long but I believe due to the wet conditions. I will give it a try again for sure. Challenging course for your money.

farm land

This course is the worse course I have ever played on, grant it I did get a great deal for 2 but still not worth the $$$$. Reg price is up there with other local courses that are 1000% better. Tee decks are very uneven and there are some where your feet are 6" above or below your ball. We started at 8 am and there were only 6-8 people on the course. Some fairways had grass 6' tall and most traps had no sand in them, just dirt. When we reached the 10th Tee about 30 elderly women and men walked out of the clubhouse and in front of us to start play. The Marshall told us to go replay the first 9 holes instead of letting us go on with our game. Luckily these golfers let us go through.
Probably a good place to take your kids for a little fun!

Fun to play

This course is interesting, but not very sophisticated. The greens are generally in pretty good shape, but the fairways and rough are not first class. The only minor problem we had was that the pro shop operator tried to convince us that our 18 hole reservation was only good for 9 holes. Eventually he reluctantly agreed to let us play the 18, but I didn't like having to negotiate before even beginning to play.

low quality

Bunkers haven't been touched in years. Greens were very slow, and small. $17 on a hot deal, wouldn't pay anything more
