About
Forest Golf & Country Hotel offers a total of 27 holes of golf, one 18-hole course and a nine-hole course. The courses are laid across the gently rolling hills of Southwest Ontario. The location is conveniently close to Kitchener and Toronto as well as the beaches and parks of Lake Huron. The longer golf course is known for its tricky island green. Both courses share a landscape of dense forests and tranquil lakes, which is known to harbor all different types of wildlife.

Hidden Gem
Great course. Beautiful late fall day. Terrific job clearing leaves from greens and fairways. Will play again
Slow playing
Tee offs booked to close together especially with so many groups In front of you, nobody making sure the the pace was kept going so a lot of waiting around for each hole. And the carts are way over priced.
Short course
I enjoyed playing the course even though there is no par 5’s. Many ball marks on the greens were not repaired correctly. Some tee-off’s need attention.
Greens made the round
I was able to hit many greens in regulation but the features on the greens made putting challenging.
More 3 putts than usual

fairly short course, no par 5's. some challenging holes , course is kept in good condition.
Beware
Course is part of hotel property. The hotel does "stay and play" packages. So when we arrived for our 8:48 tee time there were 2 foursomes ready to tee off and the course let them go ahead of us because they were hotel guest. I guess they let these people tee off whenever they want regardless of pre-booked tee times. We ended up playing the 3rd 8 hole course instead as we did not want to wait. It is not my place to tell someone how to run their business but this is wrong.
Gentle Round
moderate course difficulty, a few very challenging holes, most are straight forward, and no par 5's. with 10 min between start times pace of play was very smooth
First time this year
Course was in good shape,couldn’t beat the price,didn’t stay for lunch but heard good things about the food,will go back and recommend for mid handicap players.
Beautiful Greens.
Course is in great shape. Fairways as well as greens conditions are perfect. Love the island green for a bit of a challenge!
