Victoria East Golf Club
Enjoyed the day, course etc. Only issue was we had a threesome and could have tee'd off a bit earlier but someone booked the 1 open tee time last minute somewhat cheaper than we paid and we waited for him to arrive, however we tee'd off on schedule.
No big deal.
Victoria Park East
Great conditions for early May! Always a treat to play there!
May at Big Vic
The course is in good shape for May considering we had an ice storm and a wind storm over the last two weeks. Always enjoy playing this course. Some nice challenging holes -especially 18. Definitely recommend it.
great as always
In great shape for this time of year. Greens were excellent.
Good day
Finally some good weather. Course is late like all the courses here from the ice storm. Found it in good shape for early in the season. Greens slow but that's good for me lol.staff are always good here lots of information from them on course conditions. Had a cart breakdown on the tenth fairway. Was resolved in a few minutes didn't lose our place. Good twosome we were placed with. Enjoyable day.
Victoria park east
The par 3's - Green to next Tee is tight, have to be careful about the groups behind as their drives could hit you, keep a close watch.
Nice course been around for many years.
Good course ruined by the rain and the slow threesome ahead.
Price was Great on Golfnow. Proshop welcome was excellent! We were let go as a twosome, about 30 minutes early. Unfortunately, there were 3 guys playing ahead of us, who were so slow a foursome could have played through them! (I know because a foursome of two couples kept right up to us!) Two guys in a cart and one walking. The two guys played from the blues and sprayed their balls on opposite sides of the fairway and were never IN the fairway. They always let the walker hit from the whites and then left him in the dust until they found their balls and came back to help him look.... so it always looked like they were heading back toward us. My wife was sure they'd let us play through on the tenth, but alas they showed no sign of any golf etiquette at any time. If only people like this would play from the proper tees and not hit their drivers until they go to the range and work out the problems... it would be so much nicer for all the rest of us!! Good layout and fun course to play on most days. Didn't see a marshall, but I don't think even that would have helped.
We'll be back
Haven't been to Vic East in a year or so. It won't be that long before we go back.
Course was in great shape, and has a great layout. Enough blocks that anyone from low to high handicap can enjoy it.
One of the Tri Cities Best!
A very playable course with some tricky par 3's to keep you on your toes. Bunkers are well placed and groomed well. You really have to dig deep to find any faults with this course and the one I could think of was the practice green. Maybe a little too much slope on it where it's hard to find a flat section to groove your stroke. Great course a must play!
Well kept course.
Our second time playing this course. Really well maintained and nice layout. Arrived thirty minutes early and staff let us out right away. Highly recommend this course.
A very long course
This is a very long course so if you are not a big hitter you could find this course defeating even from the whites. I would not recommend this course for beginners. If you are an intermediate and up golfer it is definitely worth a try.
