About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, the Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. Nestled under the Niagara Escarpment, the Beddoe Course, a Stanley Thompson design, is a wonderfully scenic, challenging and demanding. It plays 6,084 yards from the championship tees.

On a hot day
The Beddoe course is well maintained and fun. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, a group ahead of us with 5 players and three carts (and nobody ahead of them) slowed us down the whole way, on a very hot day. We could have been off an hour earlier, but the Marshall was absent. Otherwise, a really good experience and course.
Good deal with Golfnow
Paired up with 2 nice fellows.
Wind made it play longer than usual.
Always fun. Local knowledge helpful.
Rained out at 16 ,but their 100% rain check policy will bring us back in a couple of weeks .Really fair !
Good prices in pro shop on clothes too!
Tricky course to play
Course layout is good, got to place your tee shot in the right place for your next shot. Glad to see that they were getting rid of lots of dead trees making it more open.
Good course to play
It was a great day, pace was good for all the people that were there. Fairways and greens in good shape.
Nice course Bone dry
Course has a nice layout in desperate need of water. Fairways rock hard making the ball roll far more than it should turning a good drive into a shot from off the fairway. Hard to hit irons ground so hard. Had to roll up to the greens could not get the ball to stick.
Would go back but not until ot rains or they turn the water on.
not for everyone
This course is excellent and very challenging. It is on the side of the Niagara escarpment so there are frequent elevation changes. Not a course for walking, unless you want to get a lot of exercise.
Even the clubhouse is built into a slope. The parking Lot is up the hill from the clubhouse. This means parking your vehicle and walking 300 yards to the clubhouse, check in, get a cart and go back to the vehicle for clubs etc. They really need to keep the carts in the parking area and thus leave space near the clubhouse to stop and checkin and get a cart key. I do not recommend this course for anyone with knee problems
Comfortable and ideal location for our travel.
Wide fairways. We'll maintained course.
Off course facilities are clean and satisfactory.
Course is drying out ,as greens were very hard and had to land in front greens or you were chipping back on,slow greens and grainy, lots of cut up dry grass in rough which made finding balls difficult.Over all a good course but the city needs toput more work in maintence.
Tee time
We arrived at the course at 9am on May 27, 2018 and we're told there was no booking under my name for 9:42am. I showed the employee the confirmation email I received on booking confirmation. He had no answer. He fond my name under 10:32am. Obviously we got bumped for members and/or friends/family. It is run by the City of Hamilton. I won't be booking there again, for some time.
Be back again
This an awesome course for the buck. One of my favorite courses.
I've been coming here for years and will continue on coming, great course and the price is perfect.
Will be back for Father's Day.
Nice course
Nice course and very challenging. Grass was a bit too long and the cut grass was a mess. Tough to find balls 2 yards off fairway. Other than that it’s a good course.

lots of rain recently so rough was really long, greens and fairways in great shape, great value!
