About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, the Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. Nestled under the Niagara Escarpment, the Beddoe Course, a Stanley Thompson design, is a wonderfully scenic, challenging and demanding. It plays 6,084 yards from the championship tees.

For a little more--the beddoe is the winner
Had a great round of golf. Some maintence was being done but the workers were respectful when we were on the tee box. No beverage cart on duty. A slow foresome let us play through and we ended up finishing 345. Looking forward to playing a here again a few more times before season ends.
Challenge
Good variety of holes with some challenging elevation changes.
Have always enjoyed the challenge and beauty of my hometown course. Can't beat the convenient location. Thoroughly enjoyed our round with one exception - the geese on the course and their piles of droppings !!
Great value and layout
Awesome layout and well maintained for a Civic course.
However, the day I played there were three foursomes in front of us and they were incredibly slow. At one point the the three foursomes were on the same hole! With two parties at the tee deck as we approached!!
With no marshals these things happen.
18th is under construction!
Very quick round, about 3 and a half hours. Halfway house was closed. Very hilly, difficult lies even if you crush your drive. Lots of water, lost a lot of balls. Not a confidence builder for sure, sigh! Great day anyway!!
Great course with minor problems
Course was in great shape.
Staff was very friendly.
Only concern is when we tee'd off the first hole we put two nice shots in the middle of the fairway. Go put our clubs into the bags and look and there were two students walking the course towards us. Apparently this happens a lot as a member started yelling at them to get off the course. It is also a community park with trails and stuff so apparently people often wander on the course.
Also it is hard to follow the holes. limited signs and sometimes you need to cross another hole to get to your next one.
Over all i would play here again

A nice scenic golf course for the average golfer at a good price
Played the course with a great deal, in perfect weather with course conditions good. We were able to start our round ahead of schedule with nobody in front of us, and were only rushed a little on last 3 holes. Staff friendly and courteous.
nice course conditions were great greens where fast and true. Highly recommend this course.
Incredible escarpment backdrop
This is one of the most beautiful courses! We delayed play on one hole because a deer was crossing the fairway. We rarely had to wait whether on the tee or on the fairway. The price is right and the course is maintained so well. Convenient location and so scenic.
