About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Great course just needs TLC
Course and greens are in good shape, the cart paths need to be repaved and hole 3 needs to be a par 4
Public course well worth the money
The course plus over 100 years old. It is well maintained and the greens are very good. It is not an easy course with multiple 200+ yards par 3s. It is on the escarpement, so it is a tough ride. Especially if you walk it.
In all I get last minute deals for $14.99. How can you go wrong?
Interesting Course
Course has undulating fairways, some elevated tees, and few long par-4s. I enjoyed playing this course..
Rude Lady receptionist on checking in
I called several days before my T time to book a cart and paid online. However on check in the lady receptionist abruptly and rudely said that she had no record of my paid booking for a cart and was extremely reluctant to accept my disclosure. However, I insisted that I had booked and paid for a cart and she eventually relented and made a cart available.
I strongly suggest that all future bookings through GolfNow also includes bookings for carts to avoid a recurrence of the issue I had and also prevents the need to make an additional booking by calling the golf course to book a cart separately from the T time booking.
I was also harassed by the Marshal and told to speed up although there were no noticeable golfers nearby on the hole we were playing (4some).

busy but close to home they were top dressing and did not disclose this at booking friendly folks here ahilly course for a senior overall a good day
Needs work
Found the course to need upgrading. The trails need work as they are very unkept. The asphalt in the trails need work never had such a bumpy ride in the cart . Bathrooms were okay but not maintained fully. . The price was good and spoke for itself .
Greens are fast!
Course was in good shape…greens fast! Work needs to be done on the cart paths.
Excellent condition
No drinks cart which in the summers is harsh. The clubhouse to get refreshments at the turn further away which would cause delays when crowded. Would be great to put something up next to the registration
Pace of play could be better. Groups in front did not follow proper golf etiquette. Took us a foursome 5.25 hrs to play 18.
