About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Martin Course
Course was very soggy this early spring. As a result, fairways had little bounce and roll, but still ok.
Greens were ok but not great, as probably not cut and rolled as yet. That said, course was still playable and round of golf was fun. We will definitely return when course conditions are better and golf cart can be used.

The course was very wet.
When we arrived, that when we were told not golf carts allowed, and walkimg was the only option.
Unfortunately, our bodies were not in shape to walk this course...
Greens were in a good shape.
Tee boxes also in good shape
But they still haven't learned that they need proper signage going from one hole to another.
Nice Public course
A nice layout, good yardage, a little damp in places.
Good value for money and a good workout. A little Hilly to walk..
T Time cancelled - no carts
No carts available and course waterlogged due to excessive rain over previous days.
Cancelled but GolfNow kindly provided a credit for future use.
Awful course conditions
The course was so saturated and the grass was way too long. Even fairway shots were overly affected by the conditions and the rough was in the worst shape I have ever seen. I have played this course my entire life (since being a junior member) and I have never seen it so rough. At the current conditions I wouldn't even pay half of what I did (and I even got it at a hot deal) to play that course again this year. Severely disappointed with the round!
