Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Manager is the best
I went there with a friend and the first time the employees really gave us a hard time . As soon we got there they were really rude and making all these unnecessary comments over all I thanks to Mark for making up for the bad experienced we had our first time .
Great Value
Great Value on a Saturday morning. Nothing amazing but priced right and in good condition.
Great course even tho it rained
First time playing chedoke Martin and it was a great course, it was wary for the holes to be close to each other as we had a few balls enter our fairways. Course was well kept and the hills added a good challenge. Would recommend this to my friends.
Value for what you pay.
Decent course but the pace was a little slow. Would play again and would recommend this course.
Fun course
This is a great value course the the staff are city workers very friendly and efficient, I always Enjoy playing this course as the pace is good .
Suited to Male players
Martin course has minimal tee box advantage for female players on fairways 470-480 m. That makes for a long game for women.
Good value for money
Ok course to play but too many hills up and down. However value for the money is great!
Well-kept, messy layout
The course is currently very well maintained but the layout of holes will always be an issue. There's four holes stacked side by side, and amateur players will play all of these by accident with misplaced shots. Anyone playing from the Reds have no real advantage on this course because both tees are always on the same box. A public walking path cuts through the 16th hole. Overall it's well kept but the Beddoe course is much more enjoyable.
Slow
Been before and it was great. This round was very slow took over 3 hours to get through the front 9
Nice course
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the course was. I thought being an older course it would have tight fairways and it wouldn't be challenging. Nice open areas to hit and with the change in elevations it made it quite interesting I'd recommend getting a cart for the first time you are there due to the all the ups and downs. Great value and I'll be back. Recommend to anyone.
