About
Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Bad experience
I booked the tee time a couple of days ago. When I got there nobody was there for my tee time so I had to wait. The starter was just changed and the tragedy began. He asked me to go to the second hall to join the team. I refused and then three guys just came but the starter didn't join me to the team for some reason. I waited for another 10 or 15mins. The starter just left since his manager called him. Finally I could join the people but it appears they only play 9 halls. So I had to finish 9 halls alone. Overall I ruined my game because of him.
It's Chedoke
You go to Chedoke because it's ~30-50 for a round. But don't be fooled, it's a good walk / workout, and there are some sneaky hard holes. Something for everyone, but the value is unmatched.
Extremely long play
We have played this course in the past and it always plays slow.
Today was the worst day I have ever encountered and will not be returning.
The today's am starter was very disinterested in his job. The tee times were all booked up, but there was no one going for 30 minutes. The starter was facing away from the ready players lined up and was more interested in his phone.
We waited on each hole, as players ahead of us mistaken the course for lesson time (this is not a first occurrence).
By 9th hole 3 groups were lined up, and once proshopd was called for marshall to deal with this back up, it took 30 minutes for marshall to come out.
Both courses are around walking trails, so random joggers, walkers, bikers and dogs are frequent occurance.
We played Beddoe few days before and the starter was efficient and marshalls were on the course.
If you have 6 hours plus to play a round and a huge bag of patience it is OK course to play.
Due to lack of staff interest and involvement and a lack of etiquette from players on the course I will not be returning.

The whole course is undulating. Greens
Are tough.
Condition of the course could be a lot better.
6 hr round, tournament ahead of us, no Marshall involvement, bunkers unplayable, rough too long. Won't be back.
