Located only minutes away from downtown Hamilton and offering a spectacular view of the city, Chedoke Golf Club features two 18-hole championship golf courses. The par-70 Martin Course was built in 1896 and was the original Hamilton Golf & Country Club before it was relocated to Ancaster. It plays 5, 745 yards from the championship tees.

Rain
It rained hard , staff was willing to give us rain check but because we booked with golf now we had to contact them. I tried to no avail. No one picked up the phone, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. We ended up playing in the rain.
Do better
No food/snack at the turn.

Course is rough conditions. Tee-box’s are beat up

Great starter had a fun time with him can tell he loves golf
This course plays well if you know where the t boxes are
Fun round and good value, but we got lost a couple of times. Many of the holes were not numbered and there were no cart signs . Cart paths in very rough shape
Terrible customer service
We had a great day until the 16th hole when some jerk of a martial came around pushing us to go faster not the best golfer but I can keep pass I golf about 100 on average we let 2 groups go ahead of us so we took about 4 1/2 hours to play an 18 and we are a group of 4 golfers he followed us to every hole saying that we are holding up people and to hurry up for 16th hole to the 18th hole at the end we found out the real problem they ran out of golf carts so they starting rushing everyone with carts we were not the only ones we herd a few other complaining about the same martial will never spend another red cent at this place I couldn’t believe how rude this person was it only takes one right
Very very good for muni course
Chedoke Martin course is amazing value, and has some great holes. Good condition, pace of play was a little slow. Not long overall, but some long holes - 260 yd par 3 (yes 260!!), a couple of 420+ par 4's uphill. I enjoyed it and will play again.
The original Hamilton golf and country club
This course has some nice,long, wide open par 5’s…. Challenging course to walk lots of ups and downs…. Greens great condition.
Chedoke - MARTIN - Yes
This is a decent track for the price. The greens are decent. Tee Decks are so-so. fairways are decent. It's rough is thick. Usually under 4 hours for 18 holes no problem. And that's walking.
Golf outing
Easy to book, friendly staff and very good value. It’s a hilly course on several holes to walk with wide open fairways . The greens are in nice shape.
The only negative comment is that the markings to the next hole is poorly done- some signage would be helpful.
Scenic municipal course
Very nice municipal course, set amongst the scenic Hamilton escarpment. Friendly, professional staff. Tee boxes and greens could use some improvement but overall good value for the money.
