Genuine old school forest lined course
The only downside I could mention would be the bunkers - quite hard and lacking sand depth. Other than that this is a great property. Not just tree lined but forest lined, so requires decent long straight tee shots. The signature hole tee shot hitting off back tee is awesome.
Not an easy course, and requires great shot making. For a mini course it's better than most other local semi private courses. Go play!
Not worth it
Regular green fee walking is $70 and not worth it. Sand traps have lumps of dirt in them and very little sand. Greens were not very receptive but putts rolled nicely. Many other courses around in much better shape for less cost.
Tee Off time?
Course a good challenge, enjoy the surrounding scenery
Played on a beautiful day walking took just over 4.5 hrs
Back to Tee Off and the time has been out my last 4-5 bookings by an hour. Golf Now times are correct and those I go by. Does Tee Off have me in the wrong time zone is anyone else experiencing this misinformation
Other then that I shot 52 front 43 back my timing was off early was too off
Top 10 Municpal Course
One of the top 10 municipal courses. Beautiful track set along the escarpment. Course was a bit soggy after a bunch of rain with some standing water in some bunkers. Greens rolled slow because of the wet conditions with the usual ball marks everywhere. Overall a long challenging course. Great price for what you get.
Course didn't take long to dry out...
Very dry greens. Nice place but like its sister courses at Chedoke it's becoming a tired Jessie. Still a decent value but at this point I'd rather opt for Chedoke Beddoe for a twilight round.
Starters need to be educated
Course was in great shape but the starters are all buddies with the members who they then favour. Our tee time was at 920, and they let the group go off immediately after we cleared the landing zone. They should of waited till 930, which was their tee time. Instead we had 4 guys in carts on us the entire round. We walked 18 in 3hrs 50 mins. Under the average pace of play. Ruined the round and I'll never play there again because of it. This is not the first time this has happened. They put time in between tee offs for a reason.
Great time at King’s Forest
Wonderful course, amazing condition. Back 9 was a little slow
