Dating back to 1973, King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton is among the top public golf courses in Ontario. The conditions are top-notch especially for a municipal course, and Ontario Golf Magazine has recognized King's Forest as a "Hidden Gem." King's Forest has hosted the Canadian Junior Golf Association Ontario finals, the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship Qualifier and the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship.

Beautiful course
Great course loved playing here
No range to warm up is the only downside
Gem of a course
This is a very challenging course. For its length , slopes, greens and elevation. I played from the Blues. It requires solid and aggressive over all game. Ideal for long hitters that want to challenge themselves.
Stellar conditions
Played right after the Canadian Amateurs were done and the course was the best I’ve ever played it . Too bad they can’t maintain this level of greens keeping throughout the year , not just for special tournaments . Always enjoy the Forest .
Best I've seen the course in a long time it was a very nice round.
Rake the bunkers
Great course but would be so much better if the put more sand it the bunkers or give them a good rake once in a while
Great deal for a great course
Got a really good deal on the green fees but had no idea what to expect since I hadn’t seen the course in 35 years. The course was immaculate, the lay out was challenging but forgiving and the staff were very friendly. Overall a great experience and I’ll definitely be back
Excellent Municipal Course
Very challenging and picturesque course for a public golf course. Walking can be extremely challenging due to the ups and downs of the course that is carved out of the escarpment.
