Dating back to 1973, King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton is among the top public golf courses in Ontario. The conditions are top-notch especially for a municipal course, and Ontario Golf Magazine has recognized King's Forest as a "Hidden Gem." King's Forest has hosted the Canadian Junior Golf Association Ontario finals, the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship Qualifier and the Ontario Men's Amateur Championship.

Nice municipal course
A good challenge for all levels of golfers. Greens, bunkers, fairways all in very good condition. Pace of play was very good also. Tee off time was as booked. Friendly starter. Good value for money.
Summer conditions
It’s only middle of May and this course is playing like the end of June greens rolling fast and true rough is thick so keep you all in the fairway. Can’t wait to play here in June.
Windy Round
I have not played Kings Forest in a few years and it does not disappoint. It a great layout and in good shape for an early season round. the wind was blowing quite hard all round to make it even more interesting. My only complaint would be is the location of the ladies tee which are mostly just on front of the white tee's making it virtually impossible for most women to make par.
Autumn at Kings Forest
The best time of year to play it. Bring extra balls but it’s still the most gorgeous place to play in the fall.
Celebrated 2 birthdays in 1 round
What a track, challenging and a beautiful setting; you really get a lot of time to soak it in.
I turned 49 and 50 during the same round. Walked off the 15th at the 4:45 mark shaking my head and listening to an eagle.
