About
Situated at the base of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen Golf Course was built upon rolling, wide-open terrain. This affordable public course offers the quality and many of the amenities of a private club, including a clubhouse and pro shop. The tumbling landscape provides undulating fairways and expansive, rolling greens where players are likely to three-putt if not patient. Despite the golf course's hilliness, it is surprisingly easy to walk. The layout is gentle enough for beginners but it also provides an excellent way for more advanced golfers to work on their short game. The par-4 eighth is Hornby Glen Golf Course's signature hole, known for the long ravine that appears halfway down the fairway where if you get stuck, you'll be facing a blind shot to the green.

Comfortably Casual
Had not played this course for many years and was pleased at how ell it has been kept up. Found the fairways with longer grass somewhat challenging but fun.

This course surprised me. I was very happy with my experience. First off, the staff are extremely nice and they respect all COVID19 guidelines. Pace of play was fantastic and the course is lovely to play. The greens were in pristine condition. Was well worth the money!
Great bang for the buck!
Wonderful greens and the rest of the course was also very well maintained. Very good value on the hot deal.
Ok experience
Course condition was decent and well maintained but I found layout was not so challenging so good course for golfer who prefer flat and simple course.
Pace was frustrating especially when marshall was notified but didn't do anything about it. Actually he ignored our request to speak to group ahead of us and just drove his cart off the other way. Bad impression for the course reputation. Overall, I could find better deal for 80 bucks these days and this was even hot deal off Golfnow.
Slow play
3.5 hours to play 9 holes.
No Marshals around to speed people up.
Great value
Very enjoyable day at Hornby Glen. Booked a hot deal with Golfnow, our tee time was 11.42, but were allowed to go earlier. We walked the course which is quite easy, no big elevation changes. Very helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely try to play here again

Easy course but good value
This course isn’t overly difficult but it’s pretty good value for the money. The greens were in fantastic shape.
Fabulous condition
Played Hornby Glen today. Course is in great shape, and greens are in pristine condition. Pace of play was excellent. Never caught up to the people in front of us.

Disappointed
I made the reservation and got charged the convenience fee only to find when i got to the course no reservation was made and I had to wait over an hour for the next available tee time. Unless it is a “hot deal” what is the point using the site if there is any kind of uncertainty of your time actually being booked.
I am looking for a refund/credit of some sort please/thanks.

Nice course
Hornby glen is a players course. It is well maintained and the greens are in excellent condition. The course is fairly easy tee to greens but the greens make it more difficult. The large greens are Well manicured will test your greens reading abilities. The only negetive is there is no cart person on weekdays. The tempertures were in the 30's and no person out on the course serving water or other beverages.
Loved it......even better the 2nd time
Played it twice 2 weeks back to back...shot my lowest score ever from White trees......love the course attendees the patrons and the layout......nothing but good things to says
Enjoyable round
This course is in excellent shape now. A couple of greens played slower than the others but overall they were fast and challenging. Pace was good despite the course being fairly busy that day. Challenging enough but fair.
Perfect!
Got a late Tee time on Canada day. Started at 5:30 and finished at 8:30. Few people on the course and we were walking. No waiting. Beautiful weather 30c,very little wind. Course in decent shape. Fairways cut, greens firm but a little slow. Tee boxes ok. Rough is tough to get out of, if you find your ball. Overall an enjoyable experience.
