Reviews
Great Course
Came with a friend during a super hot (32 - close to 40 with humidity) July weekend. The upside is it seemed to scare most people away from the outdoors. Course condition was great, Par 5's were nice, long and open. Will be back again.
Wow, what great conditions!
A wonderful surprise to return to the Wolf and find it in such excellent shape! Greens were glorious!
Course, teeboxes, too were well groomed. One area needing improvement are the sand traps!
A great spot!
5 Star Course
Wolf Run is a fantastic course, exceptional value for the money. Challenging holes with immaculate greens, fairways and tee boxes.
Great staff and a fantastic golf experience.
Always nice
New cart is excellent specially seat is likes limousine seats
Great Value, Well Maintained
The course is very well maintained, Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Par 5’s long but easily made if you can keep it in fairway. Par 3’s just long enough. Staff friendly and new carts a welcome surprise. First timers should take a GPS to get distances to hazards. Recommended.
Always Worth The Drive
Aside from the slow greens, the course was in great shape. The renovation to the clubhouse looks great and oh the new carts! The staff are top notch!!
A great day
Those brand new carts are fantastic and they even come with USB chargers. The new leather seats and padded steering wheel just added to the the driving experience. Quiet and a smooth ride.
I like Wolf Run because it's not too tough! There are a few holes where you have to be at your best but there's plenty of room for error on others. The greens were in very good shape and I imagine they'll get better as the year goes on. We played the front nine as a twosome in under two hours even though we were following a foursome. The back nine was about 2:00.
They've made some changes to the clubhouse as well and it's now very stylish.
My only complaint is that my sausage was undercooked and a little coldish (but I ate it anyway)
All in all a great day and I'll definitely be back
Wolf Run
Two friends and I played the course on Friday on a pleasant day that required a sweater for warmth against the cool wind.We found the course to be in great shape with quite a few upgrades since last played a year or so ago.Especially nice were the new golf cars that drove very well and were extremely comfortable with the nice steering wheels and the very comfortable seats.A real treat.
US open type rough
Always have enjoyed this course 4-5 times a year , heard its under new ownership, not sure if it is early season conditions or the new ownership but I have never seen the rough so high and the greens so slow , I am not a fan of high rough especially when you are 2 feet off the fairway and buried in the rough . Rough around the greens and fringe was too high and then the greens were slow ball wasnt releasing to the hole on putts as in the past here . Hope this was just the early season conditions or else I wont be rushing back here
My Favorite Golf Course
This course is a hidden gem. Although it is not the most beautiful course I have ever played or does not have a "must see" clubhouse, this course is my favorite in all of Southern Ontario.
Why, people are great, food is good, course is almost always in great condition with a great price.
My wife and I drive about an hour about 8-10 times each year to play this course.
If you have not played Wolf Run, you must try it.
Amazing course
Second round here this year and we love Wolf Run. Excellent and challenging course but they forgot to turn the AC on the course yesterday because it was hot!!! Thank you for a nice Sunday afternoon
Could have been so much more
The course was beautiful. We arrived 20 minutes early two sets of four were sent before us, one played on average 30 mins a hole the other 25. We taking with the Marshall who laughed us off and said it's a beautiful day and basically "just deal with it". After 3.75 hours we completed 11 holes if was unfortunate that the lack of organization made our round over five hours as we are fairly skilled and play quite often. Better organization and common sense would make this house much more enjoyable.
love the course grt condition. my brother and I golf there a lot BUT yesterday I was told that we couldn't have the new cart because we booked on golfnow. not sure if that was directed at just us or its a new policy. regardless we think that is wrong and unprofessional.
