About
Located near the shore of Lake Scugog, Wolf Run Golf Club is an 18-hole David Clayton design that challenges Ontario golfers of all skill levels with four sets of bentgrass tees. The golf course is approximately 6,700 yards from the tips, and the back nine features a challenging stretch of five consecutive par-4 holes. Private, group and playing lessons are available from CPGA Professionals at Wolf Run Golf Club.

an exception
course well maintained..I understand there was a LOSSA tournament which we didn't know about..we had a 212 tee off time..our approximate tee off time was 240-245 as we had to wait for all these kids to keep walking off the course...we were tired and stiff when we finally got to tee off, then had to go down and tell some older gentleman and lady who drove right past us down to senior/ladies tee that we were teeing off..no one to deal with these people and they sat beside us when we teed off, no course etiquette??
have golfed here a few times before without a problem..good value for money but definitely the long wait took a lot of enjoyment out of our day on the course
Great course
We were paired with two other men and able to get an early start. The girl in the pro shop and the starter were excellent. We were making really good time until we caught up to two foursome's ahead of us. Speed of play was very slow after that. The real problem we had was with the two inconsiderate men behind us. Several times they hit their shots right up to us or even unto the green while we were trying to putt out, even knowing we were being held up by the people in front of us.

I find this to be the most welcoming golf course in the area. The staff is very friendly, the course a good mixture of open holes with a few tight ones, the greens are in excellent condition, and the pace of play is always good.
I play this course a dozen times a year, and keep coming back because I find it provides me with the right combination of relaxation and challenge.
Thunder and lightning
The course is pretty nice and the green fees are reasonable, but their rain check policy is stupid. Rain is not dangerous, but lightning is. When thunder is resounding all around the course it's probably a good idea to get the golfers out of the area with their graphite lightning rods. From a purely monetary standpoint they are shooting themselves in the foot because I know that I will never play there again if the weather is at all questionable. Giving me a rain check after three holes of play seems like the right thing to do in this situation.
Love it
I have played Wolf Run many times and I always find it challenging, I often think I could shoot a high 70s round but never have and usually end up in the low 90s.
The price is very reasonable and they often have specials that bring the price down lower. The grounds crew do a spectacular job with greens that even the pro's would love them.
Wayne and his staff are friendly and are there always with friendly advice.
As far as I'm concerned this is a five star facility.

Second time playing in a week because rate excellent for value; course conditions fine; and always a challenge
Always an enjoyable round
Wolf Run is a nice course, not overly difficult, but it requires good execution in order to score. He course is well maintained, and for the cost, it's definitely worth the price.
Great value , worth the drive
We golf here regularly. It is long, typically keeps moving, widen open and always in good shape. Casual, older course.
good course
wolf is always in great shape. staff is friendly. beverage cart always around. only negative we were told mens league didnt start til 1:45.we came around for 2nd round at 12;00 and the tee was backed up 3 groups with mens league players who wouldnt let 2 of us go by them. slow round.
Great course
Have played here many times, travel from Toronto is worth it.
