Rained Out! Back for Back 9 Later!
I hadn't played this course in 5 years but made my way back because of a great GolfNow booking. The course was in much better condition than I recalled it to be. It's got some interesting and enjoyable holes. Biggest challenge for some may be there doesn't seem to be many flat lies on the course! Unfortunately we were chased off the course by a thunderstorm after 8 holes but had already decided we'd be back anyway.
Course was in great condition for dry weather.
We had a good round of golf on a course in very good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We plan on returning.
Fun golf!
Greens are nice and speedy, and roll very true. Subtle breaks make them a challenge, proper speed a must. Good mix of easy, wide open holes, and tee shots requiring precision. Love what this course brings to the table. Highly recommended.
Great course
Great course and staff. Would play again
Gem of a course
fairways and greens are in great shape. Great and helpful staff. Pace of play was very good.
THE last blast of the golfing year
It was packed> It was great to get out one last time. The staff was awesome.
nice track
Course was in nice condition. Greens were great, rolled perfect and quick.
Nice mix of holes. Need to shape shots on certain holes.
Well worth playing and great value!
Great Course
Could not say a bad thing other than, the pace of play was very slow! 4some in front did not want us to pass we had to skip a hole to pass them and they still complained as we drove pass them! Course Marshall was hardly around! Other than that the course was in my top 5!
Played firm and fast
Challenging course mostly because of very firm greens which made getting the ball close difficult, whether chipping or on the approach shots. Greens weren't super fast, but quick enough and difficult to read.
We were paired up with another walking twosome and play moved along well, finishing inside of 4.5 hours.
No overly challeging
Green are in great shape and easy to read. If anything they were slow.
I wish we called before booking because we were behind a tournament so it was excruciatingly slow (5+hour round)
Only real teeth to this course is the length of some holes. You have to get off the tee to have any chance to score well. Fairly open fairways but the rough was thick in some places
Good Course
I highly recommend this course to all players. It is a good course for the average to good golfers.
rain check
I played this course to-day and it rained quite hard and then stopped. We proceeded to play and the Ranger told us the course was shutting down due to weather and we needed to finish our hole and leave. When we went for a rain check we received a 9 hole rain check even though we did not finish our first 9 holes. The pro shop attendant told us that if we completed at least 5 holes then the maximum rain check available was 9 holes. I would recommend that you keep this in mind when playing this course. Do not play if there is any chance of rain or you will not be treated fairly.
always great
I enjoy this course and they have their own deals on line which would be good to take advantage of but we decided to do it using golfnow.com for a change.
just over $42 per player with golf and cart using golfnow
$47 plus taxes to get golf/cart/range balls/sleeve of golf balls and $5 food coupon..
Great conditions
Course was in great shape. The greens keeper advised me to start on the 10th hole as the first nine were backed up. Turned out to be a great plan as the round took only 3:20 hh:mm to complete.
Greens were awesome.
Course in Great condition
The fairways were well groomed and all greens were in top form with lots of challenge.
Although it was a busy course the pace was on average all right.
Lots of tight lies so be sure keep your drives from the block fairly true
Good length great conditions
Friendly course for your above average and average golfer.
Nice layout
Hole Number 8 is a goofy hole par 4 pitching wedge and pitching wedge. Other than that hole great cource.
Wolf Run
Staff was friendly and the course was very nice despite a rainy day. Will play again.
This a great course if the weather is nice.
This was a great day of golfing, except for the torrential rain on two holes and the bitter cold.
