Nice Course
Played the course for the second time and it is a nice little course. All greens are, without exception, in excellent condition. I would say they have the best greens of all the courses I played in Ontario this year. Some of the tee decks were a bit beat up though.
Overall, it was a good experience and I will recommend the course.
brutal pace of play
I walked off after nine holes because the pace of play was brutal and I was cooking in the heat. My bag fell off the cart 6x because the strap was worn out. I ended up putting my clubs inside the cart. Poisen Ivy all over so those who are allergic beware
Wonderful
Everthing was great. Course was in great condition and the weather was perfect.
The course is simply great!!!
It's about an hour drive to happiness. It's worth thedrive every time.
Love it love it love it
Always wanted to play this course but for some reason just didn't make the trip out until now and glad I did just a fantastic course.
Spring golf
Course in ok shape after winter. Greens were very bumpy and uneven. Fairways still had a long way to grow in from the winter kill, very patchy.
Nothing special but good location for us
Good location for us. Good value is important as we are now extrmely cost sensitive with food prices climbing
every challenging hole
Long par 5 holes feature this golf course and some par 4 holes need accurate and long drives.Eco-friendly course layout is the most impressive.
Hole No 2 is well guarded by trees.
Fourth and fifth hole challenge your accurate and long tee shots. In first long hole you forget on green in two shots.
fairly good
beautiful golf course nearby lake
i recommand to my friends.
A couple of very interesting very narrow par threes and a couple of very interesting par fours with hidden greens.
My wife and I liked this course, enough that we are returning in a couple of days. The only downside is that there are not very many cart paths so a little confusing to get to the holes so a person needs to be on the lookout for the "next Tee" signs. Some very nice "photo op" holes. Overall, a very nice course in a beautiful country setting.
Very challenging golf course especially from the tip & it requires straight ball or else you're in the woods.
Wolf Run golf course has all kinds of challenges. Too many tight opening especially if you're playing from the tip because of the location of trees (left & right) which is 50-100 yards away from the tee boxes. Tee shoots always requires straight hit or else you're in the woods!
Super course!!!
What a terrific golf course. Open yet challenging, rough that will (and DID!!) eat up a fair number of balls. Good pace and consistency on the greens. A lot of tough greens to hit and hold if your approach shots are not in the correct place. Look forward to playing this course again now that I know what to expect.
Great value for the golfnow specials.
This course is fairly easy but with some challenging holes that you must know where to place your drive. The 17 hole is a lay up into a valley with a precise club or go for the green in a risk reward situation. Greens are fair and readable. Not to much undulation and well maintained. The practice area is small. There is a green beside it which I thought was a chipping green.
Turns out it was a not.
With a golfnow special on, I will play this course again and again.
Great course
Course was well groomed and in great shape. Completed in under estimated time. Would go again.
Beautiful Course with many narrow fairways
Thanks to GOLFNOW, I found this gem of a course. The staff were great and the course was fantastic. I found this a challenge for two reasons... the narrow fairways and the fast greens.
If I ever get a change to go back I certainly will. I think this course should be on every golfers list of courses to play in the Peterborough area.
What a great day. Thanks to the staff at the Pro Shop, they allowed to me tee off one hour early!
Course was Full and still moved at a good pace.
The course was completely full and yet the pace of play was great! The course was in immaculate shape considering how little rain we have had. The greens were in Fantastic shape and rolled very nicely. I would definitely play there again.
