About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Golfer Reviews
Frost delay still affecting times, good round
Starting to really enjoy this course. Even though there was frost delays of over an hour, course had caught up. Only negative effect, too many golfers crammed together so made for a slow first 6 holes
Course is in great shape, comparable to Rebel Creek. I would have give 5 star for the course if it was 18 holea. Fairways in great shape. Greens were hard n fast so hard to stick to any greens. Alot of 2nd orc3rd shots hit green and rolled off.
Staff is extremely friendly, from the greeter in the parking lot to the lady in the pro shop/ beer area/ clubhouse. Only negative is no beer cart throughout the course.
Will be back to play again
A hidden Gem
I enjoy playing here every time. I should come more often!
Friendly greeting
When we arrived, the staff were very friendly, directed us where to go and was an overall great way to start the day. Tee times are booked too close together for the less talented players.
GolfNow fails the test
Rivers Edge is a fine course, but my rating of ZERO goes to Golf Now, who do not provide any phone numbers for a customer to contact them directly. And, since they do not offer any refunds, or even the opportunity to rebook for another date on Hot Deals to anyone who is not a member, I just lost all my money. I had a darn good reason, but no ability to even attempt to argue my case with anyone. I will never book with GolfNow again.
Cost of Cart
People do not like being gouged and I certainly was when I played at Riveredge. The cart charge (single rider) was as much as the 9-hole round itself, unbelievable! A nearby course charges half the price. Where do you think I'll golf next time?
Extremely slow pace
Brutally slow. 2 hours and 45 minutes for 9 holes of golf. On one par 5, there we 5 separate groups. 2 on the hole and 3 groups waiting. They must book times every 5 minutes.
Greens were so beaten up with ball marks it was hard to putt. This was at 11 in the morning. No Marshals roaming the course.
Typical of Golf North.
I'll never play another Golf North course again.
