RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Great 9 hole course
Was a great day out at RiverEdge, fairly difficult tight course with long holes which was nice. Great place to play if you don't want to hang out for a drink and something to eat afterwards as their amenities are basic but lots of places around the course to go afterwards. I would recommend this course if you want a challenge.
River Edge is in Great Shape
We always enjoy River Edge, 9 great holes in such a scenic and peaceful setting. Fairways are lush and divots being repaired. Green’s are a bit slow but understandable given the slopes and some tough pin positions. Tee boxes are bit rough in spots but still better than other courses that we have played. We played at 12 noon and it was a 2 hour 25 minute round as it was a busy Sunday. They had to bring out a pull cart for us but we got it on #2 so appreciated their effort. Offered to pay at end of round and the staff said it was a freebie. Due to Covid, no bunker rakes so place the ball to suit yourself.
This course has many challenging holes and some forced carries over marshes and several hard to get to greens as you don’t want to be long or off line. They offer a good deal on 20 or 50 play cards good for one year. My wife and I love this course and right across King Street is Costco and many other stores, services so makes an easy multi-stop outing right in the City of Kitchener.
Beautiful and picturesque but don’t think it’s easy!
Nice golf round....seems like an older gentleman in the club hoiuse doesn’t really like new players.....just the regulars. Lost a beautiful white leather and black fur trim Deer Ridge hybrid cover.....never got turned in.....somebody has it.... never had that happen before where players are that desperate to take what isn’t theirs just because they like it. I want it posted to return it. It was a gift and 10 years old. Don’t keep what isn’t yours...that’s stealing.
Great condition
Golf course was the best conditioned course that I have played this year. If you have time for 9, play here.
Challenging Course
Other than being a bit pricey for 9 holes I found this course to be fun to play and challenging for the game. Tight fairways and fast greens demand your attention on each hole.
Friendly staff, average course conditions
The staff was very friendly and helpful, course conditions were alright, overall not a bad course.
Great course, and challenging
Had a great day on the course. Challenging and scenic course.
Fun Time
The course was great I was very disappointed that a fourth person was put with my group that I did not know escpecialh considering the current restrictions but we had a opportunity to go earlier and we took it You attendant Pat was great and the gentlemen at the pro shop as well they made the day much better
Nice course with lots of water and thick bush so watch out.
Everything was good except the pace of play. There are a lot of near beginners and with a small course with only 9 holes it does not hold a lot of groups. I decided not to play a second 9 because there were three groups in front of me waiting at the tee off.
Early Morning
Course was great but workers were on the greens ,,,maybe schedule green work to be complete 20 minutes before first tee off but staff were great
A hidden gem
I never knew of this course prior to a few days ago. Was able to book a round on Canada day.
The staff were helpful and friendly. The course is gorgeous and in great shape this time of year. The greens were immaculate.
You cant beat the price so if you want an enjoyable 9 hole experience, I couldnt recommend this course more.
