RiverEdge Golf Club
About
RiverEdge Golf Club sprawls across a stunning natural landscape of rolling hills covered with mature trees and abundant in wildlife. Although it is just off the highway in Kitchener, it provides a scenic respite from the city. In the summer the golf course is speckled with vibrant colors due to the several kinds of flowers that bloom across the terrain. The natural wetlands were incorporated into the layout, coming into play often. This nine-hole course boasts all of the challenges of a full-length course, but only requires half the time. Golfers can finish a round in less than three hours. RiverEdge Golf Club is an excellent place for honing your short game skills but also perfect for a quick, casual game.

Nice tight course
Well laid out little 9 hole course that’s challenging and always in great shape. Fun spot.
Excellent!!
Great 9 hole course. Excellent condition, beautiful views and layout.
Great little course
First time playing here. Course was in really great shape. A lot of pitch marks on greens, seems like no one fixes them here. I must have fixed 5 per green. Great course for a quick 9. Will be back when I need to get a quick round in. Course amenities are dismal but that doesn't take away from how nice of a course this is.
Better Hit it Straight
Pretty course, well maintained, not too long but better hit it straight as trouble lurks not far off of many of the fairways.
Riveredge
Cart broke down and took a while to get a new one but they were genuinely apologetic. Have seen this course in better shape than now.
Beautiful course
The course is scenic and challenging enough for play. It well taken care of and probably the only 9 holes left in the Waterloo Region area.
River Edge is a Gem in Kitchener
My wife and I (70 years) are avid golfers and have played many courses in Ontario, Tennessee, Florida and Myrtle Beach. River Edge is one of our favourites and is a real gem along the Grand River in the City of Kitchener, just off King Street and close to Highway 401.
It is a fantastic 9 hole layout that has many interesting holes. Holes are well separated and it is a perfect natural setting along the river. Course conditions in early May were superb, the tees, rough, fairways and greens were excellent. The only minor issue was downed branches and twigs as a result of a major windstorm last week. There were 5 different staff working on bunkers, mowing, etc. during our visit. Pleasant reception at Pro Shop and again with the Starter.
We had a cart on the GolfNow Hot Deal but the Course is easily walked. On a beautiful May mid-day the course was very quiet, nobody behind us and we only saw a group ahead on #9. We played easily well under 2 hours.
We highly recommend patronizing River Edge, especially for those that don’t want to take 6 hours driving and playing a full 18 holes.
Was a little soggy in places and the greens were slower than normal, but that was to be expected with the spring we have had. Other than that, another enjoyable round at this course.
Very nice Palmer layout.
Super golf course. Lots of trouble to get into. Lots of sand, marshes, blind shots. Greens were fast and true. Rained the night before, cart path only, yet drainage was good. Do yourself a favor and splurge for a yardage book. As several blind shots can make a very tough time, when not necessary.
