About
Eagles Nest Golf Club sprawls across a rugged landscape of sand dunes and dense fescue that was formerly a sand and gravel quarry. The terrain is the ideal setting for a scenic, challenging round. The golf course's layout is a unique links design by Canada's top course architect, Doug Carrick, who incorporated slick, fast greens and meticulously manicured fairways. Golfers face many precarious challenges including sod wall bunkers, vast waste areas, and prevailing winds. Eagles Nest Golf Club offers panoramic views of downtown Toronto, especially on the par-3 8th hole. One of the most notably difficult holes is the par-5 17th, which features a split fairway, water, fescue, and a desert-like waste bunker.

Golfer Reviews
Excellent Course
The course was challenging and very well maintained. It was lovely with the fall colours and a clear sky with a view of the city.
Definitely a redo next year
Outstanding
One of the nicest and toughest courses I've played. Don't hesitate to book!
Under construction
I think there should have been a discount for a teatime since the course was under construction and some tees we’re all move to one spot and another hole, the entire hole was removed
Great course all the way around.
Friendly staff, great halfway house, cart girl fired up and ready by 10am. Course is in top condition and the difficulty is high. The course designer is absolute madman with the amount of sand traps and the height of the trap walls, this man should be building castles in the middle ages. Kudos gents we will certainly be back for more!
Eagles Nest
First off this is beautiful scenic and challenging course so that's great. But lots to improve upon, course condition was poor for the price. Greens are in bad shape. We paid 205$ per player and there wasn't even a beer cart present, apparently she didn't show up for work, which is understandable but why wouldn't we be warned about this when we checked in?? The snack shack at the turn was great so that made the experience better. Pace of play was awful, we were backed up from the first Tee and had a wait on every shot all day, didn't see a Marshall.
Overall, we played wooden stix last week and would highly recommend that for the same price, much much better condition
Course needs to disclose hole 8 is closed.
The course layout is great, the view of TO fantastic, and in good shape for the llate summer. But the 8th hole is closed - it’s a pretty good hole and a big miss. And splitting 17 into a par 3 and a short par 4 spoiled that hole as well. It should have been disclosed or been more upfront. See TPC.
For the occasional visitor, that took much of the pleasure out of the day.
Group in front was playing from 3 tee boxes and held us up at every hole. No on course Marshall . Awful
Horrible value
This course is probably the worst valued course in Ontario. The pace of play is extremely slow, the service on the course is sub-par, the food is atrocious and there are no rangers to speed people up. I would suggest you choose another course because this is not worth the $205 ticket price.
Course under construction. No hole 18. 17A and 17B.
Definitely not worth the money. There was no hole 18. They made you play a 17a and 17b. You’re basically teeing off from a fairway. Would never had paid $240 if I knew this.
