Angus Glen - south course
Impressive location! Surprised at the lack of direction at drop off during confusing Covid times. Loved the GPS in the carts! Didn’t expect the weeds on several red tee boxes.... or the abundance of beer cans tossed in the bushes. The greens were very burned too. Ball marks don’t seem to be repaired by golfers or staff . . I know it’s been a tough year for everyone .... just expected a bit more at this price point.
Truly Scary What This has Become
With some out of town guests and no ability to take guests to my club, we played Angus Glen. Pace was great because there was nobody there for good reason. First surprise, cart path only. They are not watering or tending to the golf course but they want allow you to drive on an almost dead golf course. Second surprise, greens are the worst I have seen on almost any course. No maintenance. Bumpy, not level and dead spots everywhere. Dead spots are because they are goose turds everywhere. They don’t remove them, they just let the mowers smash them into the greens and kill them. Tee boxes do not resemble tee boxes. No scorecards, water or any services available.
This was never a good golf course, but they built a brand as a tournament course with decent golf course conditions. John Stollery would be mortified to see this place now. It will likely be housing soon as it is a terrible experience for golf. Go anywhere else with your $125.
Conditions Poor. No marshall
A 5 hour plus round. No marshall. Greens pockmarked and ragged. Fairways full of divots.
A good challenge for a mid hcp
Was a fair challenge for this 12 hcp. The clubhouse food and drink are well priced for a high end course. Will definitely come back.
Course was a pleasure to play. Only complaint was an abundance of ball marks on most greens.
need veggie options at the half turn . come on you can do better
Overpriced w useless carts
Course conditions were terrible. Greens had brown patches, bumps and ball marks. Worst part is the gps carts that lock down when you make a wrong turn. We had to push the cart on many occasions. For $125 you can much better bang for the buck.
I have a free round and after that not planning on wasting my time coming back to this place.
North Course
You want to score on the Par 5s. And get away from Par 4s with a decent score as they are narrow and tight and requires accurate drives. Par 3s requires straight iron shots and can be punishing for hookers and slicers or if u leave it short - so hit it straight and get the right distance and u be ok.
