The course and club house
Not a good impression for my first time at this course
The staff and marshal in particular was not welcoming at all although I mentioned it was my first time at the course.
The course itself quite flat and not challenging, it is walkable however will not play there again .
An excellent course for the high handicap golfer
This course is really good for someone with a handicap in the twenties or low thirties. The mix of holes gives you a good chance of making par on several holes, but also provides a challenge on many holes.
There is plenty of water on the course, but there aren't any holes where you have to play long shots over the water.
I found the greens a bit tricky at first, I was reading breaks and the putts were going straight. Once I got used to the pace of the greens I was fine.
The scorecard is arranged so you have a choice of five course lengths (blue, blue/white mix, white, white/red mix and red tees), so you can select whatever suits your game.
I am a senior, so I usually go from the whites on most courses but I found the blue/white mix to be a good challenge without being overly long.
Great value
Enjoy Granite ridge. Very good shape! Greens are a little too undulating or i am just a terrible putter! Great value on Golf Now!
Summer in September!
The course was in mid-summer excellent condition and the weather was too! Staff were friendly , greens were fast but fair.
Terrible
A course that is only 5800 yards from the blues should not take 4 hours to play. I played the entire Ruby course without ever seeing a Marshall to speed up play.
This will be the first and last time that I play this course.

General review.
Appreciated that the Golf Now ticket was there waiting for us. Great weather, great conditions, and as it turned out ...great score. Thanks.
Good Course
Course is open in the sense that there are few trees lining each hole so you can play from another fairway if you must. There are lots of bunkers and water hazards that are waiting to eat up your ball if you are not accurate. Greens were sloped quite a bit which made putting fun, but I felt they were a little slow. Fairways were nice, rough and tee boxes were a little long for my liking. Staff was friendly.
Good but sloooow
We like both courses at Granite and are well worth it when you get a deal. But more often than not it is too crowded out there and pace is slowww, a fair bit of waiting.
Good course layout, some challenges but also opportunities to score well.
Great course
It's a really beautiful and well kept golf club the course conditions are really good the greens are is great condition and we played the Ruby course which is supposed to be a little easier I was told. Overall great course but a little pricy.
Not a great value
For a green fee of $61 + tax I expected the conditions to be much better. The greens were shaggy and full of ball marks. Tee boxes were simply awful. No pride in manicuring or maintenance at this course. Didn't see the Marshall once. Pace of play was still good. $30-$40 per round value at best.
Granite Ridge Cobalt
Great layout and the course was in excellent shape. Real good pace of play. Enjoyable day.
First round ever at Granite Ridge and I'll definitely be back!
Course has good variety in holes
Course has matured greatly over the years providing better challenge. Greens are good with some challenges.. Overall was good value.
Wear a hard helmet
Holes are tightly wedged together. Would make a great 18 or 27 hole course but there was clearly not enough room for 36. If you play here be aware of balls flying at you from any direction.
cobalt
tee time was right on , played well greens were a tad slow other than that everything was perfect
