Tucked away in the scenic Niagara Escarpment, Lowville Golf Club offers scenic views of the greater Toronto area. The layout blends seamlessly with the natural landscape, creating a picturesque golf setting that the Toronto Star's "Bogey Man" has touted as the most scenic in the area. The golf course has also received top honors from the same publication as the most improved club. This challenging, 18-hole course features several downhill tee shots that can really carry, making it a fun course for long hitters. Lowville Golf Club's 12th hole is notably entertaining. It is a long par-5 that requires a long carry off the tee to a tricky green.

paid Golfnow for a decent round and then was pushed to take a power cart total cost $60+hst
it is an interesting course, layout is pretty good, fairways good, green very fast. i would play it again if the price was much better

Challenging course
This course should not allow walking players because it's slowing down the pace of play. I loose my composure because of the long wait..... hope they do something about it. I love playing when walking but not Lowville
Staff will search your Bags & Personal Belongings on the course!
Treated my 70 year old father and 75 year old uncle to golf. The day was RUINED on the 5th hole when the staff DEMANDED to look through our bags for beer. We had a couple of warm beers unopened and they threatened to throw us off the course if we didn't hand them over, which of course we did without objection. As if we were criminals, the staff then followed us around and watched us golf - not sure why - they already searched us and took our warm beers. My father and uncle were so insulted, and I don't blame them since they were treated so disrespectfully ...
If you don't want to be harassed and searched while golfing, then avoid this course. Absolutely embarrassing when a couple of friendly senior citizens get their bags "randomly" searched by a guy who thinks he's the FBI. We noticed other golfers getting searched as well though, so be prepared to have your golf bags and personal belongings checked randomly at any hole.
The course itself is fine. Nothing special. It's surrounded by a million other similar courses though that won't search your personal belongings - so I recommend going to play at one of those instead of here.
Good value.
Course was in pretty good shape since it was raining for the first 3 holes, then very sunny after for the remainder of the round. Greens stayed surprising firm.
Course was challenging and very hilly.
I would.play and recommend again.
Beautiful surroundings
We enjoyed this course tremendously. It is walkable but having a cart is nice.
We would definitely go back .... especially in the fall for the scenary.
